Used it for the first time today with the root cutter. Worked great.

The k50 is the best sewer machine. I own and operate a local plumbing company, weve used other machines and they just do not match the level that this machine brings to the table. The machine is sectional so instead of the cables being rolled up into a drum and left to rust you can air them out. The sectional also means you can add as much cable as you need. All of my trucks carry a k50. If you are a home owner the cost may not justify the purchase, any techs this is a must.

I got the k50 and have used it to clean my drain out at least a half dozen time and ever time it was big enough to power through

I like my Ridgid K-50 for it durability and dependability.

This will help you in all plumbing service - commercial, residential, high-rise - great for anything up to 11/2" and then you will need k60. A must have for any service truck. If that is not enough - The machine will outlast your carrier.

we bout this last year to replace the old one we had which is probaly one the first k-50 made lol this machine is very versitile we use it from cleaning large drains to sink drains on a old 12 story building some these pipes are so corroded cast iron be very careful with this machine as it is very powerful ive actually went through the sidewall of the cast iron luckily its all being replalced probaly wont be using this as much after the remodel is done.

This has proven to be a great tool after I finally learned the process of running it. The only thing I don’t like about itbis the fact that the cable just flops around on the floor behind you and this could be unsanitary in a hospital!

Nice portable drain cleaner for big or small jobs!

Worked well on the 2 jobs I used it on so far. Guide hose was wound too tight and took a little effort to make it work properly.

Probably the best drain machine made because of power, portability, light weight, and size of cable, but there is one critical flaw with this machine in that it has NO AUTO FEED so unless you get the cutter to spin right where the clog is, you cannot cut all the way down a line or go back and forward to cut over the clogged area. Ridgid needs to make an auto feed for this machine to make it the absolute best drain machine otherwise it will just continue to be what it is with the limitations it has.

I work for a Collage and we have about 12 of these in the different areas of department. We have had great luck with them, and there is a good variety of different tools to use.

I’ve been a plumber for 40 years and had just bought a new machine but my old one still has a lot of life in it.AsI said it’s a very durable and reliable machine.

Compact and easy to carry; will fit in almost any space. Going up ladders with it is easy. Sturdily designed and built. Plumbing is hard enough without having to fight one's equipment. As plumbers get older, as we all will unless electrocuted or precipitated from high roofs, we look to gear that recognizes that ease of use and carry are important, too. Superman; Superdog; and now SuperSnake. Compact and capable.

this is the 3rd K50 . ive bought in 40 years of plumbing its a good machine

parts seem to wear out too soon and local plumbing supply houses do not support parts- Ridgid needs some kind of consignment parts arrangement with distributors so they can have parts on hand when something wears out- down time is a revenue destroyer and waiting days for parts is a hardship

As a septic contractor this is the smallest of the snakes we use. It's our go-to for any inside job. Over the last 20 years this little machine has paid for itself a hundred times over. Portable, strong and reliable, it will probably last another 20 years. For indoor jobs it can't be beat.

This machines size and weight makes it very easy to complete all of drain lines in a house. The sectional cables are a snap to use. Also a very wide assortment of heads to complete any job
