We used Jackson Faux Copper Ceiling Tiles as the main, feature tiles in our guest apartment. The copper finish goes great with the green in the room and really dresses up a rather boring space. It took us about a day to install the entire ceiling, and no special tools or skills were required (we're average DIYers).

nice looking tiles
unless your room is square and two ft centers you have to cut tiles which makes it difficult to make trim look good.

The finish on the product was good. Some flaws on the edges. Due to the products lack of rigidity it really needs a solid backing to install more uniformly. It may apply more consistently in a drop in application vs fastening application. Unfortunately I chose the latter.

The Jackson White 2 ft. x 2 ft. Lay-in or Glue-up Ceiling Panels are great. Was concerned that the gloss finish would look cheap so I ordered the white, matte finish. Was also concerned about ordering them site unseen, but they look good up on the wall.We used the panels on the top half of the bathroom wall as part of a bathroom remodel, since these are rust resistant, mold resistant, are not suppose to corrode or be effected by water, humidity, mildew, and bacteria. And they look fantastic. Dresses up the look of the bathroom. Our contractor applied glued to the back of the panels. Placed the panels on the wall and then used white screws along the edge of each 2 panels. You really have to look hard to see the white screws. We used 'Goo Gone' to remove any glue that appeared on front side of the panels. Glue from the tube of glue got on contractors hands on occasion while installing the panels. Since the bathroom is small, we ordered these instead of the 1 panel that is 2 ft by 2 ft. The 4 panels that are 2 ft by 2 ft look better in a small space.

Great looking once up
Once we got the right glue/caulking the tiles went up fast and easy. In store staff recommended wrong glue/caulking but once we went for a stronger glue/caulking things went along smooth. Did need to put the recommended tape up between the tiles to finish the look as no matter how close you got the seams there still was a gap at the corners. It was a little expensive for a whole ceiling but looked great and easy to do |Ordered on line and tiles and tap came in just a few days. This product would look good as black splash in kitchen or bathroom also.

Solved our drop-deiling dilemma
We just had the dungeon bathroom in our basement remodeled. We needed something that would allow us access to overhead pipes/electrical/duct work but that wouldn't collect mold or mildew. We didn't want a traditional drop-ceiling tiles. Obviously, tin tiles wouldn't work, so we tried these. Decorative and functional! We purchased the grid that goes with the tiles. I can't speak to easy on installation because we had the ceiling professionally installed. Overall, we're happy with the product.

These are great!
Great stick on ceiling tiles....my ceiling is made from plaster and lathe...i need to utilize staples in lieu of the glue...i ordered the decorative strips to put between the tiles and these hide the staples and look good.
