Crap windows! So cheaply made. Theres no way anyone can even open these windows because its full of plastic ahavings and plastic parts. Do not spend thw money on these crap windows!

The seal failed in one of our windows. The original dealer who installed the windows when the house was built 8 yrs ago ordered replacement glass but sent us elsewhere for installation. Apparently they sent us to a competitor who is basically sending us back to them. We understand that we pay for the installation of the new glass but now we’re having trouble finding an installer.

All jeld-wen products are garbage from doors to windows. They are total hacks. I've gotten both doors and windows from them. Everything is complete garbage. I've had glazing everywhere, staples that hold jambs together just hanging out, miters garbage

Contacted manufacturer about a v4500 slider frame that had cracked along the closing edge by normal opening/closing. I was told by support that vinyl is not covered under warranty and I would need to purchase a replacement. The lifetime warranty they advertise is apparently not valid even though it lists the vinyl as covered. Do not recommend this product.

LIKE MANY OTHER REVIEWS, WE HAVE A JELD-WEN WINDOW THAT IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS CRACKED. THE COMPANY DENIES WARRANTY COVERAGE, CALLING THIS "SPONTANEOUS CRACKING" WHICH THEY WILL ONLY REPLACE IF IT OCCURS WITHIN A YEAR OF THE DATE THE UNIT WAS BUILT. THEIR SUPPOSED 10 YEAR WARRANTY IS A MYTH. GET ANOTHER BRAND IF YOU NEED WINDOWS!!

Product i ordered was in black exterior / white interior. Shipping was decent on time (3 weeks) . Packing was done right, however, the window finish when I unmasked it was very, poor condition. They did not take the time in painting the black side thoroughly, has lines of white everywhere , ALOT of overspray of Black on the white side and chips/ splits. For 400+ $ I would’ve spent less on the all white and painted it myself. Clearly time and effort was at a minimum with this window. Customer service was very nice and understanding but asked me return window back to Home Depot and then wait another 3-4 weeks. Unacceptable my eyes so I will still be installing window and refinishing myself , very disssapointed and now concerned with a matching patio sliding window on its way too.....

Received these windows with silicone all over and large gaps between the glass. Contacted customer service and was promised they would come out and fix after they are installed. Still trying to get them to come. Would never order these again.

This company is a scam. There delivered broken windows twice delaying completion of our project 8 weeks. We lost $7000 in rent. They offered us seventy ($70.00) dollars in compensation. @JELDWEN makes billions but screws customers. BEWARE

The window was as advertised and shipped earlier than originally scheduled.

Ordered 6 windows and all of them had very poor build quality. They used too much sealant during assembly so it squished out and had to be trimmed. They forgot to send the seals and dust caps so had to be reordered. Another month. One arrived damaged. My construction business will be buying Pella windows. Done with Jen-weld.

Over time the caulk/sealer used between the double glass panes has broken down and a dripping gooey mess results between the panes. Obviously a defect in design. Jeld-Wen will not stand behind their defective product. No assistance at all. We are forced to replace 8 48" x 36" vinyl half slides (16 sashes) at our cost and to Jeld-Wen's profit.... Sound right to you?

We have had ice build up on the inside of our windows. There are vertical cracks developing on one window. The windows are 3 yr old. Neighbors in our condo association have the exact problem. We can not find any Jeld-Wen service technicians. I think we might get some legal action started

It’s a great window and the quality is exceptional.

Windows functioned properly however, every single pane on every window had excessive glue that came out on the corners which makes them look cracked. Wouldn’t recommend! Quality control is lacking.

The handle lock is worse. And doesn’t sit flush against the frame. There is gap/hole between handle and frame

This window was not properly packaged! There was no plastic covering around the window to keep foreign material out of the slide mechanism…i installed the window and the slide mechanism was contaminated with debris…the slide had to be flushed to remove the debris for smooth operation! The debris was grinding materials after fabrication! I bought the same window earlier this year. It was packed in a crate…The bottom line is Jen Weld is losing internal controls to insure their product meets both Jen Weld standards as well as the customers standards! I plan to look for another company that maintains quality standards tha meet ISO 9001 standards for quality !

Arrived extremely late. Well packaged. Easy to load and transport. In storage until spring. Too late in season to install. Had to board up old window for winter. Disappointed

The windows were bent when I finally got it installed it was hard to close
