We purchased $10,000 worth of Jeld-Wen windows and they all condensate badly. The company refuses to honor their warranty and has no accountability for their poor quality product. They say, “condensation is a natural occurrence.” I would not recommend Jeld-Wen windows to anyone.

Would never order a window from this company again. Awful purchase in every respect. Ordered one 24.5 x 24.5 V2500 series for bathroom. Waited nine weeks. Window glass was sloppily installed with glue and caulk permanently oozing out around the inside edges. Window itself was sturdy, but spring on slider is too strong. Window doesn’t close easily. Frame was dirty and covered in caulk. There was no screen included.

Easy to install. Looks very nice

Quality feels a little cheap, but it keeps the heat out well, and it's a good value for the price.

Window does not stay up, after you lift it all the way up and let it go, it slumps back down 1/3 to 1/2 way closed. The same model in 36x36 stays all the way up without issue. The photo shows the max height it will stay open.

my window was delivered with a broken latch. i've been told this will be resolved, and expect this will be.

The windows have an excellent appearance. Be sure to get upgrades on the locks as it opens in a snap. The upgrade to the to the better looking mullions is very nice. Installation was quite easy. A novice with a penchant with hammer, drill, caulk gun will do fine, instructions easy to follow.. I have installed many vinyl window and various brands. Be sure to measure correctly, as this helps with installation immensely. That was the good, now the bad. I ordered the windows with sloping sill adapters, for retrofit in 1950's style wooden window frames. The adapters were poorly installed and the actual water proof box frame had been sawn thru a bit, at the corners and broken the integrity of two of the windows. It was solved with a bit of 40 yr. caulk.. Also the weep holes were not crisply cut. This could be seen only if standing 4 feet away. So, when you receive the windows at the store or they are delivered, inspect them in detail before taking them home or at delivery.

Item was delivered broken. Customer service representative said I have to cancel this order and reorder to receive another window. After I had already waited 5 weeks to get the window.

Do not buy this brand. The frame was thinner than the traditional same-size window and did not fit well. This order took more than one month, so I don't want to return and wait another month without the window. In addition to this, this manufacturer gave Homedepot clear glass instead of a Mesh screen (wrong item). This window was for my bathroom. I had to buy a plastic tinted screen to stick it, and it never looked as good as the original mash screen glass. I will never order special items from HomeDepot they had never check/verify items from the vendors.

Windows arrived without any protective packaging, no film. Delivery service was lack luster at best, I don’t think they would have made it to the door without me. And our contractor noticed a scratch on one of the panes upon installation. All said, I will not be recommending this product, likely the opposite.

Both windows that were custom ordered were broken, the glass was in tact but there were multiple cracked plastic structures. Will not by again.

I am very happy with my new kitchen window. Easy to open and draft free!!

The window is great, arrived on time, installed easily. The only issue was the fin was bent where it attaches to the opening. We pounded it out and it attached just fine.

The windows were just as described and easy to install.

It is a very good window. The only problem I had - I couldn't move the lower slider more than 1/4". It took a manly jerk to make it open. As a woman, I didn't have enough strength besides I was afraid to break it. The problem was one corner of the slider was sort of welded to the frame and was stopping the window from opening. Took a man a open it for me. After that it became a very good window.

The screen had a tear, but after some email time, the company is getting it straight.

This item came damaged the first time, which extended the wait time for this item only available by delivery. Strike 1. When the undamaged item came it had silicone all over it. Strike 2. Then, although it is listed as "new/replacement" it doesn't come with an extender or sloped sill adapter, so it really isn't suitable as a replacement unless you get those items separately (not obvious where to get them. I would not use this again as a replacement.

Overall windows looked and fit nice. However the screens were already coming out of the metal frame.

The window was returned do to poor construction, ie. the sliding part was loose and sloppy, also the sliding window would not stay up when raised. At a $400.00 price for a special order single hung, this was garbage and I will avoid jeld-wen windows for ever

Decent windows, a bit over priced for a non custom window but much better than what I had.

Much better than aluminum windows. Consumers Reports rated these very good buy a couple of years ago.

Great Window. So much better than the other replacement window I recently installed. Jeld-Wen was a couple bucks more, but very worth it. The rest will be Jeld-Wen.

Easy to assembly and protect good

Of 22 "JW Atlantic series" windows, one had a missing screen and one missing weatherstripping. Within days of advising HD, they opened a ticket with JW. The screen request was promptly answered, and screen promised. Separately, the weatherstripping was sent. Prompt good service by both HD and Jen Weld.
