bad primer
The primer on these is very hard, and and dings chip it off in giant chunks. Its like an egg shell. The doors themselves seem like decent quality for an HD product, with the expected blemishes that can be cleaned up prior to painting. I would have liked to see solid wood on the door frame at the latch, its mdf. We’ll see how this holds up.

JELD-WEN doors are usually real good
I've had positive experiences with JELD-WEN doors, bought quite a few of them, and this door is solid and a nice design, but one of the five I bought was warped, and could not be mounted successfully. Hassle putting it up, taking it down, returning it.

poor craftmanship
We ordered a number of these doors and none were built competently. None of the frames were stapled squarely at the joints. Frame needed to be redone or trimmed to fit in doorway. Hinges were not lined up properly. some needed to be regrooved so the doors hung straight. We regret this purchase.

We installed this door as part of our bath remodel...
We installed this door as part of our bath remodel project which involved adding a jetted tub. The solid core door reduces the sound of the jetted tub just as we had hoped it would. The door is of great quality and was rather easy to install.

Middle hinge was only half mortised. Striker plate was improperly...
Middle hinge was only half mortised. Striker plate was improperly postioned. Something was out of whack as the door contacted the door stop at the bottom but was a half inch away at the top.

I bought (5) doors of different sizes. The doors were ordered as primed only. One of the doors has a big brown stain on one side of the door.
I'm hoping I can paint over this stain. Might have to get a stain blocker. The problem is, I paid a lot for these doors and shouldn't have to to this.
I just bought (4) more of the same doors.
