I ordered two sets of 36”x 80” pre painted bifold doors and when they arrived the first set went up with no problems however the second set once I put the pivot pins in and the top roller pin in I noticed they weren’t straight and plumb the were off by at least 30 degrees and when I put them up the pivot pin at the top of jamb and the roller made the doors not follow the track and not line up with the other bifold!! Once you put in these pins there’s no taking them out and they can only follow the path of the hole that was drilled so it was defective from the factory and had to be returned, then after waiting another month for a replacement it came and when I opened the box the top hinge had popped out and and the pivot pins I had a problem with before were still not straight but not as bad as the first doors and when I hung them and opened them up the outer jamb had Three 2 inch long gouges in it that are visible when you open them. The hinges weren’t lined up causing the bottom 6 inches of The doors to stick out! I’ve contacted JELD -WEN to please send me some touch up paint and alignment brackets to try and make these doors workable because to send back and wait another month is unacceptable !! I still haven’t heard back from them so you decide weather to buy these doors or spend a little more money and get quality? These doors do not meet my expectations and I wouldn’t recommend

Easy to install, lined up perfectly

We put two pairs of these doors into our nursery closets, I was glad we found something pre-painted because I didn't feel like painting four sets of doors. They took a lot longer to install because I wasn't thinking and assumed they came in a frame like a normal door, and I had raw walls showing so I had to finish the wall-ends and make the opening smaller as I had left room for a frame. But very happy with the finished product. Love that they match our normal doors as well. **These are NOT easily cut down, we had to cut them down about 2" and had to make a new insert board for the bottom, nail it in and drill new hardware holes, so while it's possible to cut them down they ARE hollow doors so be ready for some work**

I ordered 3 doors, 1 showed up completely delaminated. How did it ever make it to the box like this? There is barely 3/4” of mdf around the doors, making modifications for and old house a nightmare! Theres also no solid structure in the door at the handle locations for adding sftermarket door pulls. How was this the same price as a solidcore prehung door?

Quality of the product is good but I paid 3x the cost to have the manufacturer paint it so it would be a quality job. That was VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I recommend this product, style and quality BUT SAVE your $ & Time and paint it yourself.

These doors are expensive for the quality. I purchased solid doors with frames for $40 more. These bi-fold doors are flimsy and installing the handle in the recommended spot (center of the leading panel) is a bad idea. The doors are simply not made to support a lot of stress here.

Finish on the end grain was fair at best. The facing took high quality paint (Sherwin-William premium trim paint) very poorly with it peeling off after drying for 3 days. Had to sand and paint it over again. Disappointed with a name brand (JELD-WEN) noted for great products to sell such a poor product especially through Home Depot. Had to sand, fill, sand and paint multiple coats to make it almost look presentable. Glad I didn't choose to put this in a place where guests would see it. Put it in a storage closet. Bottom line is that this product belongs in the trash dumpster!

Nice looking door and the mounting hardware works good. There was a minor quality issue about 3 inches long and 1/16' wide on the front corner edge that looks like slight delamination but is probably just an under paint flaw. The doors are only primed. The surfaces along the edges are very rough - it would be nice if they smoothed these better at the factory. These will take a lot of sanding to make them look good.

Received the door weeks earlier than expected which was good. Replaced old existing door and everything went smoothly. Just some minor adjustments with the height and it was ready to use in less than an hour. Upgrade looks great!

Easy to assemble and looks great after installing. I would refer this product to a friend.

I can only give these doors Fair, While they look great, the construction is not that solid. The support structure that forms the main part of the composite was very inconsistent. In places less than 1/2". I had to return one set of doors as the hinge had no support at all and the cover came off.

The doors installed ok and looked nice until you open them. The exposed edge is an unfinished, very rough appearance.

Easy install, protected well and shipped to Home Depot fast. Our home has the matching bedroom doors and this was the last one to buy. Painted well and worth the extra money even comes with the hardware to hang the door also. We didn’t know that.

These doors bifold and solid core design are beautiful. I am ordering more to complete the renovation of my Villa in Siesta Key!

The hole you have to push the hardware into are flimsy cardboard.

The doors came and they are beautiful. A little bit of a wait because had custom painted by company. Only issue is was advised they used Behr French Vanilla but when I went to Home Depot to try to get extra paint to match them for other hallway doors, I was advised there is no such color..... Maybe an old name? I'm still working on matching the color. Have e-mailed Jeld Wen directly but haven't heard back yet. Other than that very happy.

Packaging was poor and caused damage. Paint quality was poor. The paint chipped off easily, especially on the edges. Paint not evenly applied. The doors look good from a distance but up close they look cheap.

We purchased these doors because they matched the inlay style of another brand solid set of doors we purchased (couldn’t find the matching bi-fold for closet). Visually looks like an attractive door, installs very easily. Typical hollow door quality…

I liked this bifold door because it wasn't plain- Jane. I special ordered this door and it was fairly easy to install, however door came chipped in two places on the front. Disappointing, and now have to repair it myself. I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning... should have a better quality control process...

The doors seem nice but the incorrect hardware was included. I called manufacturer and they sent the right hardware for 1 door even though I ordered two doors so now I am waiting on the next bag. Other than that, it seems as though the doors will be nice when they get hung.

Door was damaged when I picked it up. Waited 5 weeks to get the door and it was damaged. Same old, same old Home Depot.
