In the spring of 2020 we had 2 dams fail in our town and flooded my recently remodeled basement. I September 2020 I decided to special order, cut to size, the 5 doors I needed to speed up the re-construction process. Well........That was a waste of time and money because it too 6 months to get the doors just to find out the quality of construction was very poor and some of the worst I have ever seen. The jambs were not put together correctly and one of the jambs was smashed. Send them back ?? Why, so I can wait another 6 months for more junk. Took be longer to repair these doors than just buying standard doors and cutting them down myself. Oh, forgot to mention that the holes for the door latches are mis-aligned, not sure yet how I'm going to fix this !! Extremely disappointed with what I thought was a well known name brand door.

Looks great easy to install

Installation was very simple. I recommend taking the door off the hinges before installing. Not by unscrewing the hinges, but by popping the pin out of each hinge. I've purchased the interior door that comes primed with all the moulding attached. This is a way better purchase. Much easier to paint trim instead of a door. And this is a solid door, other type is hollow. The rest of my doors will DEF be the already painted ones.

These are very nice doors with frames, but be aware that, if you order the finished ones in a white color--it is not a true white ( i.e., like baseboard white). I kept looking at it and wondered why it didn't come close to the white trim around the door that a contractor installed for me. The company did send a touch-up bottle, thank goodness, which I had to take to Home Depot to color match (actually a grayish white, although the bottle is labeled "Brilliant White"), so I could paint the trim to match all 5 doors that I ordered. So, now it doesn't go with the baseboards which are a basic white color, but I'm not going to repaint them! One other important item bears mention--there was NO NOTICE of delivery. This order, on the Home Depot website, kept saying the delivery would be the last week of Nov., 2018. SURPRISE--they were delivered on Fri., Nov. 9th, and hour before I was leaving for an out-of-town trip!!!!! No calls, no e-mails about them coming almost 3 weeks early and we're talking about a huge package of 5 doors plus frames. I finally received a voicemail message that they would be coming soon--2 days after they had already been delivered and the Home Depot website still said Nov. 28th. I'm sure this doesn't happen very often, but it sure was a BIG inconvenience to get the package taken apart and then brought into my condo by the delivery people, who got special permission to help me (I'm in my 70's) since I not received any notice of delivery!

We ordered and successfully installed other Jeld-wen prehung doors. These two orders came extremely damaged but not enough to identify the damage upon pickup. Very disappointed.

The door is perfect, like the aesthetics of it. Lite weight easy to handle and install. When ordering go into the store.

I really wanted Steves and Sons in an 18 inch two panel and was unable to find Steves and Sons in that size. The Jeld Wen was an okay alternative. So far so good.

Waited 2 months to arrive came in with damaged frame and deep groves scratched into door

Was easy to install. Painted nicely. Took a little longer to get than expected.

I love the look of this door with the arched panel and this was the only place I could find a door of this size, in this style for our bathroom linen closet. I think the price is a little outrageous for a door of this size, as the other doors we purchased that are twice this size were less expensive.

I had to prefer and reorder these doors 3 different times before they "came correct", finally the swing and hinges were right, then each doors molding was installed backwards. I had to remove, switch around before I could install. Very disappointed in Home Depot.

I never realized how hard a linen door was to find. To make matters worse I could only find a pre-painted door. This cost twice as much as the non pre-painted door HD sells. The non painted one was not available. The door itself is fine. Just expensive. For a painted door I thought it would come with the door and the jamb painted. I was wrong.
