the windows arrived and are in good condition, the jamb size was for a 2x4 wall, so I will have to make extensions, not a big problem...could have been my mistake? The price is reasonable as most wood windows are special ordered and expensive, all in all..they will work and again, reasonably priced and made in the United States as well!

the bottom sash does not tilt down nor is it removable. the description did not claim this was a feature of the window but.. it's hard to believe.

Seems very square and sturdy. I bought it because of the treated wood to replace rotted Marvin windows on a southern storm exposure. We filled the nail holes and reprimed it of course with a high grade primer but that is pretty standard with "preprimed" wood. The latch is not as nice as the one on our old Marvin windows but maybe the wood won't rot! Excellent buy for a medium grade product.

Don’t buy Jeld-Wen products. Very poor quality. No accountability behind their workmanship and they do not honor their warranties. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Ordered a double window factory mulled together. The center mulling wood was cut 3/16” too short leaving a bow in the top frame if you shimmed the bottom square, or versa. The side frames were nearly 1/4” different in length. I get that its mostly hidden by the molding, but why not build it accurately and square? The real issue is sash quality. So warped not sure how the glass stays in it. To lock the sash, becuase of the bow you raise the bottom to meet the top and leave a gap too big to seal. Unless you shim the bottom so much it bends and closes the gap. Not a great long term solution. Prodesk where iordered was no help. Really should have put plywood back over the window for another 6 weeks while waiting for a better window.

The window worked perfectly

The windows seem to be well built and they are affordable. The only downside I see is that they come with an outside trim that is useless and had to be removed as a historic trim had to be added to complete the look.

I am did replace my 30 years old windows. Windows good quality and easy installed. I'm really appreciate.

Mediocre window, probably should have listened to the reviews but I was desperate for a window with a paintable wooden exterior. Was warped and the track for the sashes sucks, totally chintzy. Used it anyway only because it will almost always just stay closed and locked, otherwise would have returned it.

They fix exactly as ordered

My review is this door has blinds inside the window, they started scratching the window from inside, now you can’t see out of them. The side the blind won’t even work anymore. Then this Jeldwen company want get back in touch with you to make it good! Sorry company. Please, please people do not get anything from this Jeld-Wen Co.

Nice window for my garage although no screen included.

It is a good window, but I had to replace the brick moulding with flat casing and widen the sill. It was a lot of work for a house that is not brick. I don't understand why the window does not have an option for flat casing.

After buying and having a contractor install these windows they sweat in the winter time causing black mold to grow on the wood. Yes they were finished so that’s not the problem. On top that they don’t latch correctly. So all in all they are junk don’t waste your money

The jeld wen latches didn't line up enough to lock on two of the windows I ordered. The latches are small and cheap quality. I ordered tempered glass on my windows and one window came without tempered glass. I regret buying the windows.

Those home depot windows are very cheap and too expense it. The price is too much.

The hardware breaks down and the windows are difficult to operate after a few years. They are drafty and not very energy efficient compared to a lot of windows now.

Rough openings are listed incorrectly. Increase the rough openings to allow for the unit size listed. Big hassle if you don't. These are good windows.

This new construction window is very easy to install if you do the prep work correctly. It's well built and comes packaged well. It's also much quieter than the 28 year old window I replaced. It's getting hard to find wood windows and this one is a great find for the price.
