It was easy to assemble and looks great. However, you will need some cement pavers as shown in the pic. The optimal size is 18 by 18 which are almost impossible to find. Luckily, we had 4 left over from another project. I added a nice flower pot on top to add more weight. They recommend 144 total pounds which 4 -18 by 18 stones will give you. Keep an eye on wind gusts.. I always think it’s going to fly away of turn inside out, so be ready to bring it down. Otherwise, so far no problems.

Pretty good umbrella, but could be a bit more robust. To change the angle of the umbrella is somewhat difficult, as the handle that slides on the shaft tends to bind up. This is pretty expansive for what you get.

Pretty good umbrella. It's easy to assemble and to use, and the fabric seems pretty substantial. However it is not as solidly constructed overall as compared with other ones I've seen. I doubt if we'll get more than a summer or two out of it. It blows around a lot in the wind.

Easy to put together and to use!

for the price my expectations really were not that high.however it does serve it's function well. it blocks the sun. I have 140 lbs of sand bags on the base. the base itself could be a little stronger.

Great Umbrella. Nicer than others out there. Material is good.

The umbrella is so big it will never withstand any winds. I have to close it every time it gets a little windy. Plus the base is not sturdy at all. Very disappointed in this purchase.

I bought this umbrella in July and love it. It is well made, sturdy and the perfect terra cotta colour I was looking for. But, like all cantilever umbrellas, it tips over easily, so you must purchase the blocks to secure the base, or as we did, bolt it directly to your deck.

It takes some practice to get it up and open

The unbrella is not sturdy ,it is made of plastic I hope it lasts the season.

Just what I expected, it was easy to assemble and works perfectly. No need to pay for the higher priced umbrellas in my opinion. One note: the instructions recommend 140 pounds of weight at the base. I purchased two sets of nylon bags (four bags total) and filled each with 50lbs of play sand and the umbrella is very stable. Perfectly happy with my purchase.

Very easy to assemble. Does NOT come with weighted stand for base, weight must be bought separately. I found it a little hard to open/ close, it looks like it might be easy to pinch a finger.

Parts holding it together are made of very inexpensive plastic. Don't think this will last more than 1-2 summers.

When ordered I thought it is strong enough but after installation we felt it is not strong enough and it was moving around within wind

Blew around easily in the wind; didn't lock in place. Returned.

Will not stand on its own with umbrella extened without sand bags. Not a good look.

Excellent design and engineering. Works well with a large coverage area. The unit does require the addition of a counter-weight (either patio pavers or sand filled container) on the base to keep it secure in strong winds. These were easy to acquire from Home Depot or Amazon.

I love having the option to use the umbrella in a number of locations in the yard.

Wasn't clear that it didn't come with weights. The costs of the weights is more than the umbrella. It also arrived without and nuts and bolts and damaged. Returned it

This umbrella is exactly as it was advertised; was very easy to assemble and set up; works beautifully; my only concern is the weights I ordered with it - they do not fit the umbrella base frame very well - but I think that is a problem with the weights and not the umbrella.

This is the 3rd offset umbrella we've owned that is the perfect shade for our hot tub. We can tilt it to block the morning sun and use it to create a cozy, dry setting in gentle rain. The color and size are perfect, and the materials should last for several years to come.

Looked around before we made the purchase. Easy to set-up and looks fantastic!

It was very cheaply made, flimsy and awkward. You would have no nail it down somehow to the concrete to keep it from blowing away. Doesn't come with a base or anything. We returned it.
