Great product, highly recommend this for a do it yourself install.

3/4" pine rectangles, set back the fence on your router table, rout horizontally left to right against 2 stops, then do the same thing vertically for the cross cut out...OR just drill a 1/2" oversized hole in 8 plastic shims and attach with 1/4" wood screws with 3/4" washers.

It works,not worth the price

Buy this kit if you want to save time and money. Average cost to install a simple door is $125. It will take a contractor up to 3 hours or longer to install a door in your home. More than likely they will make a mess and not clean it up. Save yourself $100 and install it yourself in a half hour. I am a beginner do it yourself-er. I read the instructions and installed my first door in only a half hour. Love it. paid for itself 4 times over the first time I used it. On to my Mother in laws next week end to put a door in for her.

I have been hanging doors since 1988 and this product makes installing prehung doors easy when working by yourself. especially heavy solid core doors. Getting the door in the opening is hard enough and it staying there, with this product you can get it started and you need to anwser your cell, well it isnt going anywhere you can walk away do your thing and come back and your door is still there!! NICE! Going out to get me another set !!

This kit makes it easy for a novice to hang a door. I can just imagine how fast the process would go for a pro using it. I really like that it is reusable. I really like that it only takes one person to get the door hung. And the door works - how great is that!
