We installed a beautiful onyx walk in shower to assist my handicapped husband. We spent $8,000 to include a handicap seat with a stationary shower head in addition to a hand held unit .We purchased dual shower heads T17230l for wall mount in addition to a hand held T13220. These faucets have a scald guard control built in which restricts hot water. We’ve had 3 plumbers out and have been told the units are set on max heat. One head reaches a temp of 90.7o the other 90.5o. We have only been able to use this shower during the summer months of July & August due to cold water temps. Don’t buy this faucet if you like a hot shower. Very disappointed after spending so much on our beautiful handicapped assessable shower and unable to use it daily. Delta should alert buyers how restricted their scald guard units are.

We swapped out our old fixtures for these and it really made a huge difference. This is sleek and modern, plus it is easy to use. The shower head has 3 different settings and really great pressure. The only problem is that is isn't as spot resistant as I had hoped (as shown in photo). Overall though I'd recommend it!

Unit has been installed but currently out of town and when back will be working on other updates in that room so it will be some time before anyone will actually use the Delta T17230. But I will provide feedback.

An old shower value quit working and the 17 series unit replaced it.

Until yesterday, I really liked this shower head with the 3 flow adjustments and the temperature control setting. We’ve had this installed for about 20 months, and the shower head started dripping when the shower is off. This shouldn’t happen after such a short period of time. Please help.

Shower head has started leaking after being off for several house. The valve is just 3 years old. Haven’t contacted Delta yet. Rating could change depending on the repair needed.

We haven't had this long, but so far we love it!

Had to change out cartridge

This product was a replacement for a shower head I had installed about 15 years ago. Yes, Delta does stand behind the lifetime warranty. The shower head is much larger, and the water pressure much improved. I am completely satisfied with this product and Delta.

Landlord's plumber installed this. Pressure from shower head is poor, the only setting that actually sprays is the fine spray in the outer ring, and it's so widely spaced it doesn't wet hair or rinse soap from skin. "Drenching" spray just spills straight down. No previous pressure problems with old set. Two hands required to change settings on shower head without loosening the whole thing, and it's too big for small hands to grip. Two hands also required to adjust temperature controls without turning off water. Less functional than either single-handle controls or 2-3 knob controls. Gaudy and ostentatious. In combination with chrome plate covering holes from previous 3-knob system, it looks like a wrestler's championship belt.

Quality was very poor. For the cost- I expected a whole lot better.

I have had this for around two months now. The shower head is decent: it has a nice "rain shower" flow but the pulsating (massage) mode has a narrow flow and isn't very strong. The chrome finish of the two parts shows every water stain. The most serious problem is that the temperature limiter prevents the water from actually getting hot unless the flow rate is high, even when the limiter is set for the highest temperature. Additionally, the volume and temperature control handles are not easy to turn.

Changed out an old Delta gold unit for the stainless. New unit installed easily and directions were easy to follow. Works well.

I have all Delta products throughout my house. The warranty on Delta products is excellent.

Good value for a quality faucet. Delta is a very good brand and this faucet is no exception.

Once you snap on the temperature knob, it will be difficult to remove if you need to get to the shower valve.

Solidly built, high quality, great looking product. Shower head is not at all as pictured except for the fact that it has polished brass finish with some black plastic trim. The shower head is actually much larger with a wide rounded egg shaped main body; not a straight line sloped body like is shown in the picture. This was a big surprise when I opened the box. It does not look bad, but just very different than what is pictured. The dual controls (volume and temperature) work great.
