Very nice product and A+ on customer service
We bought this shower door based on Dreamline's reputation, the look of this door and the reviews. We also have a very out of plumb walls and the fact with this product your walls can be out of plumb up to an inch on each side was perfect. This was the first shower door I've ever installed. Only comment about the instructions were they could have provided more detail in the more technical steps (glass installations). We had an unfortunate accident with the installation of the in-line panel and it shattered on us. I called Dreamline's customer service and they immediately shipped a new one to us, no charge. Watch those corners when installing, keep those protectors on as long as possible, its a two person task if you are not a professional installer. I finished the installation this week and we love the look and how solid it is.

Attractive & Functional Tub Door Unit
This unit was installed on a bathtub to prevent water from the shower-head from splashing onto the floor. Unit was just the style my wife was looking for with an opaque glass to provide some privacy. The unit has one fixed panel and one sliding panel. You can decide where the fixed/sliding panels go (i.e. left or right side) by making the necessary cuts on the top and bottom frame pieces. The only part of the installation i found different/difficult was that the entire unit must be installed as complete unit. This is different from a standard two sliding door unit, where I have installed the bottom, sides, and top rail as separate pieces. Other than needed someone to help lift the unit in place, the installation is fairly simple and straightforward. The unit is well made and has plastic edges on the doors that help to prevent any splash from around the doors while the shower is in use.

Great Looking and Quality
I have had this product for several years now and it looks and operates as good today as when it was installed. I would not hesitate to purchase any product Dreamline sales based on my experience. I have also dealt with the support division at Dreamline on a warranty replacement. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating. In all, I have nothing but praise for this company, their products, and their employees.

Beautiful Product
Beautiful product! This shower door makes my entire bathroom look amazing. It is a focal point once you enter the room. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a sophisticated modern door.

Great product, installation was a bear!!!!
I would not recommend purchasing this sliding tub door expecting to install it if you have little or no experience with this type of upgrade. I have flipped homes and installed several new tub doors but, I must say that this was the worst installation project I have tackled in years. The item list does not show the items as they look, there are several screws that you must use and nothing tells you what length screw to use for the part you are working on. The instructions are poorly pictured and you had better have at least a second person to help you install. Installation aside, the door looks and operates nicely.

Helper needed
Product looks nice and rolls smoothly. You must assemble the product first, then caulk it while holding it so requires two people. It is difficult to see caulk coverage. I held the door up (and it is heavy when fully assembled) while my wife caulked the bottom and sides and then we placed the unit in place and attached. Neither my wife nor I know how much caulk she got on the bottom and I have since had to add caulk to the outside to address leaks. I like the door but wish it was designed to be assembled in place piece by piece. Unit looks nice though as long as you have no issues with having a bottom rail. I spent most of the day on it but had to narrow it and re-drill the stops to address a narrower than designed tub enclosure opening.

Applying silicone caulk is an important step to eliminate leaking, especially when you have a bottom guide rail. Applying the caulk to the sill before setting the door in place will help to insure an accurate seal. Also, caulking the outside perimeter wall profiles and bottom guide rail as shown in the installation manual is a must.
This door is designed for a 56"-60" tile-to-tile finished opening. Using this door in a narrower opening will reduce the walk-in size and may be an issue. One door slides and one is stationary
The doors can be installed either right or left door slider. I think that the stationary door shold be mounted the opposite of the water fixtures for easier access. There is an approximate 3" area on the inside that cannot be cleaned/wiped without using the quick release bottom mounts. There is anti-splash strips on the slider and one on the bypass. The top and bottom inside rails are not enclosed. The slider mounting hardware has a plastic snap "Chrome" cover piece and the rest of the exposed hardware is "Nickel".
