[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect solution for our garage refrigerator that did not have a working built in filtration system. The install was a breeze but make sure you follow the directions. We did have to purchase a new water line as our line was not long enough, but this was no issue as the other line was older anyway. The instructions say we should be able to filer 2,500 gallons of water or change every six months. We have a significant change in the taste of our water and it was the best thing we added to our secondary refrigerator.

Easy to install, using for our small commercial ice maker.

you have enough water line. Like most of us looking into this product, I wanted to add a filter to my icemaker to clean up the smell and taste of the ice. my mistake came when I assumed this was the easiest filter to install because I saw the 1/4" tubing it had to go into. However, I did not check to see if I had enough water line to add this filter into my system. I only had 3" of clearance on each side, and when I first hooked up the filter, the rigid lines in place sinched and water poured everywhere. The fix, I went back to the store and picked up a bag for ice machines installations. it was another $25. I should have bought the filter that goes between two supply lines and made it really easy on myself. Instead, I had to completely redo my water line to add slack and now it works great. I have attached a picture to show what it looks like now. Overall, the filter works and has cleaned up our ice and it tasted good now! But before you buy this, make sure you do not need the same in depth installation I did.

Good quality and easy to use

This filter is a replacement for an old one already installed, therefore it was easy to swap out. So far it is functioning as designed to filter the water going into the ice maker on my refrigerator. Been using this model filter for over ten years. Just swap out the old and put in the new. Seems to be doing the job and have not had trouble with it leaking.

Returned as wouldn't fit the unit

The product was easy to install. It was up and running in less than an hour. The only problem was that a connecting piece was missing in the packet. We had to use the one from the old system to complete the job.

Water did not taste better to me mad worse

I was sold the wrong filter even though I bought in paperwork showing what I needed I am very disappointed

The filter is good, but I concerned about the contamination of the filter due to unsecured packaging. There is no seal on the inlet and outlet of the filter and many times when I purchase a new filter the package has been opened. Please get with y he manufacture to change the packaging.

App says being pricessed but i gor a text saying it was ready for pick up. Supposed to be curbside
