We've owned the washer & dryer for a little over a month now and now we enjoy doing laundry again! Clothes are so much cleaner and dry throughly compared to our old top loader washer and dryer. Glad we made this purchase

Ive had almost three weeks now and love it nice and easy to use and love it

I am sure we received a lemon so it might not be fair to say the washer is poor quality.however the washer we purchased is poor quality. Stopped spinning with in 32 days. the belt had come off the pully due to a loose fitting. The pully then embedded into the barrel cover allowing for water to infiltrate the motor compartment. So we called for assurance thinking this warrants a new washer . After 3 visits from the resourced vendor and a complete rebuild we had a new basket. No instead of a new washer we have a refurbished unit that does not work well!!! Disappointed

We purchased this washer and matching dryer. After owning a good Mayta* stacked unit for 14 years, we soon found out that this was the ONLY pair that had reversible doors. (a necessary requirement for our laundry room) I swapped the washer door over myself, then went to tackle the LP conversion and attachment of the dryer to the top of the washer. This brought out the weakness of this manufacturer - poor phone support, and no manuals. They only provide repair technicians with manuals and the telephone personnel do not have them either. YouTube to the rescue! Found a clip that at least showed me how to properly disassemble the top, front control, and front panel. The installation thereafter went well. (picture attached) The machines both perform like they should (excellent) and they are quite also. Only ongoing years of service will determine how good of a product this actually is. BTW - we leave the washer door open for a day after all the washing is completed. Last load is always the whites. We use 1/4 cup of Clorox in this load, which prevents mold & smells that so many others complain about.

This unit has a drain pump filter that is difficult to access. If it clogs and the filter must be cleaned )(a normal event) the procedure is to remove the top, remove the control panel and soap drawer and remove the front panel. If the machine is in a stack the dryer on top must first be removed to get the top off. The design is terrible, it should have a door or easy way to remove the front.

We've had the washer and matching dryer for about 3 weeks ago and so far they have been working quite well. We haven't had any issues at all. Both machines are very easy to use and they are the quietest laundry appliances I have ever owned. Also, if you are not accustomed to the newer front loading washers, you will be shocked at how little water they use. The clothes are always very clean.

I did lots of research and read lots of reviews prior to my purchase. I can say I am 100% satisfied. It works perfectly, cleans and does not wrinkle. I replaced a 2year Maytag that was terrible. So happy I bought this, if you are unsure about buying just do it

I brought this a few weeks ago and had heavily stained clothing some with delicate materials cleaned very well and gentle with the fabric

Purchased this washer and matching dryer in March of 2014 to replace a 10 year old (different manufacturer) front loader set because the dryer was beginning to go. Overall, the Electrolux set has been great - great cleaning ability, nice features like the sanitize cycle, energy and water efficient. But to have the bearings wear out in less than 4 years is certainly disappointing, especially since we only averaged 4-5 loads per week. Estimates for the repair are nearly the cost to purchase a replacement machine. As our overall experience with Electrolux appliances has been good, we're looking at the EFLS517SIW, but I'm on the fence because of the short lifespan of the EIFLW50LIW.

We built a new house and sold our 8 year old front loaders with last house, we never had any issues after 8 years. This washer and dryer both had multiple breakdowns within 2 years, highly disappointed!

I love my washer and dryer. Its get my clothes real clean and dry. I've only filled it up a couple times.

Bought this product for our new home, I love all the features and settings that are available! It is also very quiet which is a huge plus!

It washes beautifully, quickly and efficiently, is relatively silent and thus does everything I hoped it would do. I like the little musical signals and the way the controls light up.

Easy to use, ultra quiet, can handle an extra large load. Purchased a floor model, set it up and discovered it needed a repair. Electrolux took care of the problem quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend!

Simplistic to load, select and run. I love the light..

The washer is okay. The parts are mostly plastic. The soap dispenser drawer broke within 6 months after purchase. It is taking forever to get it fixed by the warranty repair center. I am still waiting for the three parts.

Almost a month w new washer and dryer.. Clothes appear and smell cleaner. Like the appearance and high end reputation. Hope to use for many years.

I will give it 2 stars for being super quiet and getting the clothes rung out. Cleaning clothes is average- you have to remember to pre-treat stains. I had the belt slip off after 7months. Under warranty and the guys noted that the harness for the drum was not tightened as this was an issue they were seeing. 3 months later same thing so the factory made them replace the drum, harness, etc. Now a year later, the belt slipped off again but this time we noticed that the drum (which is plastic) was warn through to the point we could push the plastic through which means water will leak out. We never moved the machine as they say not to due to leveling so we relied on the installers first time and the repair guys the times after. This had been

I've owned this washer for 6 years now, and I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about this product.. I am so impressed with everything about it.. I love the sanitize cycle; it gives me peace of mind knowing my sheets and towels are coming out CLEAN. This machine prompts you when it needs a "system clean," another added bonus to know your machine and clothes are CLEAN. There are so many options for cleaning my clothes, like determining what spin level I want to use. I hang dry most everything I wear, so using the casual wash with medium spin leaves my clothes wrinkle-free. I also love the hand wash cycle, it's perfect..

Bought this a few months ago and will probably buy a dryer

Bought this about 1 year ago and have been very pleased. So quiet, uses far less water than my old top loader, and gets the laundry much cleaner. And it looks good, too. So far so good.

Best washer I ever had. It is quiet and so large and uses less water than most.

This washer completes a load in 42 minutes for a normal cycle. My old washer took at least 55 minutes and my clothes come out so much cleaner now. It is also very quiet.

The washer was returned over 6 weeks ago/ it was never installed/ tech said it wasn't compatible with my stackable dryer/ why haven't I received my refund? What is going on? Marcia Lane

The spin became unbearably loud and the machine started to leak liquid after 19 months light use. And now it's completely broken. Seems to be the drum bearing problem. A huge waste of money. I will not buy from Electrolux again.
