Life-changing convenience
I’ve been wanting to add an instant hot water faucet that matched my new Delta faucet in champagne bronze for a couple of years now. When I saw that this one featured FILTERED hot AND cold water dispensing I knew it was time to invest. This faucet has simplified my life and knowing that the hot water I’m making my teas and soups with is filtered is very reassuring. Also, the cool water it dispenses makes filling the coffee maker with fresh filtered water so easy. The design fits my aesthetic perfectly.

Faucet provides separate levers for filtered hot and cold water
This faucet replaces a previous Insinkerator faucet of similar design and function. The previous faucet was leaking from the hot water lever that could have been rectified if a special tool and replacement washer was available. Because Insinkerator does not provide such parts, I had to purchase a new faucet at considerable cost.

Wonderful to have filtered water cold and hot for tea at your finger tips.
I had a hot/cold system for 9 years. I loved it so much that I had a plumber, electrician and a person to drill the hole in my granite for the house I just purchased. It is worth it!

Great to use, but needs to be replaced every ~2 years
This is the 3rd time I've purchased this product and it seems to fail every 2 years. I can't deny the convenience of having instant hot water at the sink and how good it looks, but even with general care and maintenance every month, a water filter attachment from Insinkerator, it STILL manages to break somehow in a way that the manufacturer has no suggestions to fix. The problem always seems to be a constant leaking, so I'm guessing an inner rubber o-ring is finally worn out? There is no replacing that part either. The manufacturer gives no instructions on how to open it up safely and to replace the part.

Garbage
I’ve gone through 3 faucets in 2 years. All started to leak. For $400+ product. Ridiculous. All their products have doubled in price and the quality has gone down. That’s what happens when other companies selling a once great brand to each other …Emerson before and now whirlpool owns them… so bad …

A former one lasted 15 years, but the washers on...
A former one lasted 15 years, but the washers on the handles started to leak. The new one looks exactly the same and fit perfectly. A perfect match for our sink faucet.

The faucet price is way to high
I'm using hot water insink erator from past 10 years. Recently faucet stopped working and when i look for replacement , I was surprise with the price of just faucet. This is a total rip off!. Why we need to use only your faucet and not compatible with any other faucet?

Drips
The first product was installed with my new kitchen. I was so excited to use it. After a few months it started to drip. After a year of filling gallon jugs with water for my plants and to use to rinse dishes, i unplugged it (it was using too much energy) and it dripped less. Yesterday my son, who installed the first one, installed a brand new one and it drips faster than the old one. It is now unplugged and capped. And i am without a dispenser. Not worth the money.

AFTER 14 YEARS, LEAKING AND CAN'T BE REPAIRED
I have enjoyed this product. Have used it consistently for 14 years. The cold water valve started leaking and the small piece needed to fix isn't available. Had to buy a entirely new system in order to not have to fit the granite counter top. Had it replaced only to find the tank eroded and needs to be replaced. They don't make them like they used to. Expect to get 12-14 years out of this product if your lucky

The life of an InSinkErator® Hot Water Dispenser is entirely dependent upon service conditions, usage patterns, and local water quality, just as is expected with conventional hot water dispensers. However, many of our consumers tell us that their instant hot water dispenser lasted 7 or 8 years, and some even report 10–15 years. Currently, dispenser parts other than the aerator are not sold separately and are not designed to be replaced, as it is a somewhat complex process that would be very difficult for most of our consumers. It would be risky if not performed correctly. While you may be very capable of making repairs, the skill levels of the average consumer vary greatly.
