Good quality, but instructions for attaching the spring to the nail securely are lacking.

I installed this on the shed door. It flew apart with the first good gust of wind while the door was open. The problem is with the two bent pieces of wire that pull on opposing ends of the spring. They are made of soft low gauge wire, an the hooks on the ends of them just straightened out, and the spring flew across the yard.

Keeps screen door from fully extending and busting the closer.

Needed extra protection from high winds. Easy to install and good quality.

I snapped a screw off while installing the chain so the quality on them could be a little stronger. Otherwise it is a fine product.

After having our door closer damaged by a wind gust, we purchased this to fortify the new closer. With the spring mechanism it dampens the stopping but still avoids hypertension of the closer.

Had a storm come through yesterday and this already paid for itself a hundred times over. Went out to save some cushions on the porch and the wind took the door and my arm right to the limit of the chain. Without the chain, the door would have suffered the same fate as the previous door. Easy to install and included everything needed.
