All in one cable repair package
Nice tool to have in the tool box if you're a Diy person. Cut easily and straight. Stripping the wire was a piece of cake, the size needed is marked on the tool. If it's your first time try cutting off the very end of the old cable and stripping like the back of the box instructions show you. After a practice cut from a piece I was going to discard anyways, I felt like a professional! I'm constantly moving furniture around my house and I never seem to have the size cable I need! Now I can get rid of all the wrapped up cables I have tied behind furniture and tvs lol!

Really good crimp tool kit
This Coax stripping and crimping tool kit works very well. The cutter blade is very sharp and makes quick work of length modifications of cable. The strippers also work very well and allow you to easily remove the shielding around the Coax cable. The crimpers come in three sizes, which allow you to crimp the F-Connector onto the newly stripped coax for a clean, tight crimp. The handles have an easy to grip surface, but the coating isn't terribly thick, so it's not advisable to cut live coax with these, the thinner coating also makes them a little less comfortable to use during crimping -- but it's fine for trimming and stripping.

Coax connector kit
Was harder to use than I expected but worked in the end. Maybe I did it wrong but you can see the crimp is a little damaged. Instructions were clear enough. Hardest part was slipping connector onto wire. I had to pound hard to get it to seat. It finally did, after using a small socket from my 1/4 inch socket set to put over the protruding center conductor and banging on it a bit.

Clean Up Those Cable Connections!
Yes, you CAN do your own cable connections with the Ideal Coax F-Connector Cut, Strip, Crimp Kit. Especially if you have a bunch of sloppy cable connections that were left at your house. This is the only all-in-one tool you’ll need to make all the different cuts and connections in standard cable. The tool itself is great. It’s got all the openings clearly marked to make each special cut and crimp. I made a professional connection in just a couple of minutes. The only problem I had was with the instructions. The visuals for the first 3 steps are a bit murky. Someone trying this for the first time may get confused by the photos of the black cable against the black tool. I think mechanical line art would have been a lot clearer. The last 3 steps are fine. This is going right up on the garage peg board.

Solid connection
What's nice tool to have in the tool box. When those ends of your cable start to get old just cut the old off and crimp on a new one and once again your internet, satellite connection or just shortening a cable is finished in no time. No more having to buy another cable and wasting money. And the best part it does 6 or 5.9 size cables. A must tool for the DIY person.

Good Solid Product.
The coax strip & crimp tool does exactly what it is supposed to. I fixed 2 broken coax ends quickly and easily. I was especially happy with the clear instructions on the back of the packaging. They helped to create a perfect fitting. The tool itself could have a better hinge. Its a little sticky and clunky. Aside from that it is great. The grips are comfortable. A spring would be nice to assist the opening. It works well.

Gets the job done
Feels sturdy in the hand. Metal is solid and opens and closes with ease. The rubber grips are pressed fitted and I do worry that they will become lose over time but glue can be added. The laser engraved lettering is a nice touch it won’t fade with time. It is a well thought design and nice that it came with come coax with the tool. Perfect for the DIYER to use around the house or every the professional.

Very wide grip for holding fitting
These are pretty basic cutters. The cutting feature is really nice and can cut and trim easily through the wire. The tool seems fairly well built and I am confident I will not need to replace them anytime soon. The handles are pretty ergonomic when holding them. The main issue I have with these is that the cutouts for grabbing the hexagonal part of a standard fitting, even the ones that are included with the tool, are smaller than they should be. While they do still grip the fitting, the handles are very far apart and you need to feast it with your hand pretty much open. Not very ergonomically sound when doing multiple fittings. But for the odd job one or two fitting jobs, this will do the trick.

Handy addition to my DIY tool kit!
Excited to have these. DIYer, I have old cables that need fixed. Now I don’t need to hire a pro for such a small project. Great all in one kit. I was able to clean up my cables and add the new needed ends. Great instructions with pictures included were very handy and easy to understand. This crimp tool is a sturdy all one piece with comfortable silicone grip. Perfect addition to my DIY tool kit.
