Tools should look polished, feel solid with a good amount of weight ( to show its solid, not hollow and vulnerable to breakage under use, but not overweight to be cumbersome). also, No casting flash remaining, plus moving mechanisms ( joints, racheting, socket attachment points to look and feel precision built. Certain brands come to mind with the word Snap, as its name..But this tool, Husky, Gives that feeling throughout its appearance and function, without a price that would be budget "un-friendly". So in conclusion, I would definitely recommend this Brand, this tool, and would buy a whole set without hesitation.

bought this tool the other week and used it several times to change parts on my zero turn lawn mower. This wrench did the job to my expectation and satisfaction, epecially when you think of its length (for more power) and its powerful ratcheting quality.

Heavy Duty Wrenchs
This is a very complete, sturdy, and heavy duty set of wrenches. This set goes from 1/4 to 1 inch and 8 mm to 21 mm metric ,which is every size one would ever need. The metric wrenches even include a 16 mm and an 18 mm sizes which are seldom included with any set. The ratchet end of the wrench has metal gears and all you do is turn the wrench over to change direction which should help them last longer. Plus as usual they are Huskey and you can't beat their warranty and I believe Home Depot will be around to honor it.

Great Set of Combination Wrenchs
This is a great set of SAE and Metric wrenches. They are made with a smooth chrome finish and are high quality. Each one is made in a perfect size and weight. They are very well balanced and manufactured with a great ratcheting socket on the box end of the wrench. This twenty seven piece set covers a wide range of sizes in both the SAE 1/4 thru 1" and Metric 8mm thru 21mm.

Essential Wrenches
Ratcheting wrenches are one of the greatest innovations I have seen. These wrenches are well made, have a lifetime guarantee, and they look and feel great! The ratcheting box end is a slim profile that fits in tight places, making these extremely handy. The size markings are large and easy to see, even for my old eyes! To reverse the direction on these wrenches, simply flip them over. Great tools, another winner from Husky.

Fine 5-degree ratcheting, Guaranteed Forever
I appreciate quality tools that hold up. So far I've had no issues with these wrenches, and they come with a very simple and complete "Guaranteed Forever" warranty: "If your Husky hand tool ever fails, bring it back and we will replace it free." The ratcheting-end of the wrench has 12 points. The ratcheting steps/clicks are only 5 degrees (quite small), which is very nice when working in confined spaces where you can't turn the wrench much. Unlike typical combination wrenches where the closed end is slightly angled, the end here is straight, so the wrench won't angle away from what you are working on. Because of this, there is no direction control on the ratcheting: it only ratchets one direction. While this does mean you have to turn the wrench over to turn the opposite direction, it also means you can't accidentally bump the ratchet control (which I have done on other ratcheting wrenches). The only slight negative I will note about these wrenches is that they are thinner in the thin direction than another brand of guaranteed-forever wrench I have used in the past. (See photo I attached to this review.) I don't think this is a strength issue (they are wider in the wide direction), but when you grab the handle to turn the wrench, you are now grabbing a thinner edge which makes it easier to push into your hand when turning stiff bolts. This is probably a non-issue if you are wearing gloves, but it's something to pay attention to when comparing wrenches.

Good Solid Wrench Set
This is a good solid wrench set for any toolbox or service truck. The finish is good quality without having sharp edges on the side. The ratcheting end has good sharp dies that fit tight. My set came with an extra 1" wrench for some reason. Size accuracy, I checked the standards with a caliper and they consistently measured .0155 above spec (I.E. - 3/4" = .7655 in.)

strong and convenient
I have always been a fan of another brand when it came to wrenches, but the quality has gone down the tubes with those. I had the chance to try these out and they are great. Less money, lifetime warranty, and feel substantial in the hand. The ratcheting mechanism works flawlessly and the grip is tight. I never felt like I was over doing it when really putting the pressure to it. They do tend to scratch easily, but who cares, they are wrenches made for the average person, and can be bought with a budget.

Combo wrench with ratcheting box
Some people think that tools are just tools. There's a huge difference in quality between brands and even levels in the brand. When you work with tools, you get to know the difference in quality by the feel and finish. These Husky tools are well made and they're very strong. Here's my description of this ratcheting combo wrench. 1. The feel in hand is nice - smooth edges. 2. No sharp edges - easy to work with. 3. Good thich chrome finish - doesn't feel like it'll chip off. 4. Good weight 5. Solid feel 6. Some flaws in the manufacture 7. Ratchet has slack 8. Ratchet clicks are long - not fine 9. Box end isn't symmetric. 10. Ratchet only moves one direction - must turn tool over to change from loosen to tighten. This tool is well made and the ratcheting box is very convenient. The long distance between clicks does make it a little less convenient to use. Also, when the ratchet only turns one direction, it also takes away some of the convenience. Still, I think these are great tools for the money and I'd recommend them to anyone. Great value for the money and very versatile.

This set will Ratchet up your tool box
I love these wrenches. The ratcheting function greatly helps in many ways. The guys on my crew are all jealous. Even had one guy offer to keep them on his truck for me. Just yesterday I installed a toilet and needed various sizes of wrenches. I used these to install the toilet and it helped so much. Especially when I tried to bolt the tank to the bowl. It was a Kohler toilet which had the three bolt pattern. The back bolt was hard to reach and not a lot of room to crank the wrench. But the ratcheting function did the trick. I have owned a Craftsmen set for over 25 years. The construction quality of these in my opinion surpasses my old set.

Good Quality Set
These are really good quality wrenches. This is the first time I've had ratcheting wrenches and I can say that its worth it for how much easier it makes some jobs. I've used them for odd jobs around the house and for working on my motorcycle. I've dropped them a few times and still can't see any nicks or scratches on them. In addition to the size, there's also an arrow etched in them to show you the proper direction for the ratcheting end, so you don't have to guess. Note that neither end has any angle to it - its a completely flat wrench. If you are looking for good quality wrenches that will make the job easier, these fit the bill.

Great wrenches, durable with a lifetime warranty
As someone who is always working on mechanical projects with collector cars, motorcycles and race cars, I value a good set of tools. These ratcheting combination wrenches are a great addition to anyone's tool chest. The wrenches come in a variety of sizes from 1/4" to 1" in SAE and from 8mm to 20mm in metric. The wrench sizes are also etched into each wrench in large, easy to read numbering. The wrenches are flat, so when you turn them over to reverse the direction of the ratchet, there is no offset wrench angle that causes the wrench to interfere with whatever you're working on if you're using them in a tight space. The 12 point ratcheting head is easy to locate on nuts or bolt heads and the direction of the ratchet is clearly marked on the handle. The wrenches are finished in a polished, easy to clean chrome and best of all, come with a lifetime warranty.

Sturdy wrench
Husky tools have become my favorites because of the quality and value, and the fact that they all have a lifetime warranty, which is becoming harder to find with other tool manufacturers these days. The ratcheting wrenches are a mush have for any mechanic or home owner, as it is a major time saver in any project. Also important is the play in the ratcheting mechanism, and this wrench is very tight, which allows for turning the nut in a low clearance area. These have a very strong feel to them, and I expect them to last for many years to come, but if something does happen to one, I know that Home Depot stands behind them, and so there are no worries.

Well Made, Great Tool, Nice Design
A ratcheting wrench is a 'must-have' in your tool box. The Husky ratcheting wrenches are well made and of high quality. They allow you to quickly remove and install fasteners. The ratchet design is strong to handle a great deal of torque. I used this wrench to remove and replace worn sway-bar bushings. They enabled the project to go quicker. These are nice wrenches.

High Quality And Precisely Machined SAE And MM Ratcheting Wrench Set
So I'm sure my wife was a little confused why I selected this full set of wrenches from the Home Depot Seeds program, but I explained that I didn't have any "ratcheting wrenches", she understood completely. As far as testing the wrenches, I loosened a few bolts and nuts on my riding mower, some small, some large and one on the hitch much larger. This set easily completed the tasks and without any sign of reaching their stress limits so these wrenches get a solid A there. Going further, the fact that Husky provides limited lifetime warranty on these wrenches really sealed the deal since surface rust and pitting from that will now be covered. I take very good care of my tools, cleaning them with degreaser after each job and wiping them down with a very thin layer of WD40 before storing them for later use. Overall, I have absolutely no reservations recommending this product to home owners and business owners alike.

Awesome for Tight Spots!
These wrenches are amazing for turning fasteners in hard to reach places. Instead of fumbling at placing the box end back on the nut or bolt head, the ratchet makes a once arduous task simple. I wish I had gotten these sooner, since they would have saved me so much time and frustration doing automotive work. The wrenches have the typical Husky quality with a lifetime guarantee. They feel plenty beefy, and the ratchet feels solid too. If it breaks, just bring it back to Home Depot for a replacement! I tested the ratchet out, and it does indeed have a 5° tooth engagement as claimed. However, there's enough backlash in the internal mechanism, along with a little bit of play on the fastener head that in practice you really need a 15° arc to effectively tighten a fastener. It's still pretty effective for turning fasteners that you can barely get to though, just know it's not actually 5° in practice. Another thing to keep in mind is that the box end on these wrenches is not angled like a standard combination wrench, it's straight. That's because the ratchet is not reversible, so you have to flip the wrench over to switch from tightening to loosening. There are some advantages to this, like allowing for fitting into a very shallow area for working. However, if your fastener is up against a surface, you might bang your knuckles a bit more than with a traditional wrench. Overall, these wrenches are a great tool at an awesome price, especially in the 20 piece metric/standard kit.

Simple, shiny and solid.
The 12 point ratchet makes it easy to get them onto nuts and bolts in hard to access areas. These wrenches are very simple. No lever mechanism to change the direction of rotation, to change direction simply flip the tool over. The direction of rotation is clearly stamped on the tool so one can see right away if you are going the right way. The tools are nicely polished and the sizes are clearly marked. There is an excellent range of sizes available in both Metric and SAE sizes. Made in China.

First rate wrenches
I got several of these wrenches and they're all great. The ratchet mechanism works smoothly and positively, with clicks every 5 degrees, great for working in tight corners. The ratchet is reversed by flipping the wrench over. Because of this the wrenches don't have the traditional angled end, but instead have a gentle curve to the handle to allow a bit of clearance. The curve is arranged so if the wrench is flat the opposite end is rased a bit when tightening - see the comparison photo. The markings are easy to read and appear on both sides and both ends of each wrench, so there's no fumbling to find the wrench size. I have a set of regular Husky combo wrenches and in comparison these are a little longer and a little wider on the ratchet end to accommodate the mechanism. I'm enamored with the polished jewel-like finish on these wrenches. Like other Husky hand tools these came with a lifetime warranty.

Husky Ratcheting Wrenches Are As Nice As Professional Wrenches!
The wrenches arrived by mail in a large box. Every size & step in size was included all the way to the Larger 1 inch to the 21mm wrench. The Ratcheting Box end is so handy. They turn in the tightest of spots. They aren't bulky like some of the 1st Ratcheting Wrenches I bought & have. I'm Glad to have gotten them & they will add a nice touch to any Tool Box. The Metric Wrenches were the same as in all the sizes were included. What an outstanding Complete Wrench Set! I hate buying wrench sets to find out I have to buy a non included wrench for $40.00. This Set Solved That! They are Quality Wrenches with very nice chrome finishes that are just a smidgen below in finish as Professional Wrenches Like Snap On or MAC Tools or Matco. I found them to be accurate & worked well. Good Sets! Would recommend for any Garage Tool Box or Work Shop Tool Box and dare I say... A Beginners Mechanic Tool Box!

Love this wrench!
This wrench is a must have! It's perfect for the hard to access bolts that would be easier to remove with a socket that's too big to get in there. The ratchet end is not angled up or down so it's easy to reverse direction without a problem, just flip over the wrench and go. The 12 point ratchet itself works great since it grabs well and holds hen you're really cranking on a bolt (in either direction). Also, since the wrench is long it's easier to torque bolts and loosen stuck bolts. This wrench seems really well made (Forged from CR-V Steel) and they are guaranteed Forever! I use it on my motorcycle and it really makes the job a lot easier and less banging around not having to reset the box end to turn a bolt. This is a great wrench!

Tough, reliable and non slip
As all of these types of wrenches come in the form of double hexagon (12 points), (hexagonal are 6points) with a 5% arc swing, they are a real pleasure to use and certainly less damage due to the ratchet slipping, especially to my knuckles. Having said that, I do use offset ratchets when the surrounding surface of the nut/bolt is either flat or raised a little, but the flat ratchet set gets used more often. For this set of 13 SAE and 14 metric, I used the 5/8 and the 13mm and confirm that both ratchets are of a premium quality and well made, both have an excellent grip and the advertised 5% arc swing I hardly noticed any arc swing at all. One nut was especially tough to loosen and I ended up having to use an extension bar that slipped over the ratchet handle. After soaking the nut for a few minutes with thin oil based liquid, the nut finally started to turn and thankfully did not snap. The 13mm ratchet came through with flying colors with no sign of any damage despite the vast amount of pressure I had put it under. With a total of 27 pieces, there is more than enough to work with. Alloy steel construction that cleans up with just a wipe over. Sadly there was no case supplied but at Home depot there are lots of inexpensive ratchet holders to choose from.

This is why I Love Husky
The more Husky tools I get, the more I Love them. These combination opened end ratchet wretches are very Heavy Duty. The way they feel in your hand is incredible. The ratcheting action is very definite and smooth. I tightened up the bolts on my trailer beyond what my impact driver did. To my surprise there was still a ways to go. The chrome plating seems like it will last for years. Very Impressive.
