Customer Reviews for Honeywell 12 x 20 x 1 Elite Allergen Pleated MERV 13 - FPR 10 Air Filter (12-pack)

I bought four 20x25x1 7-FPR filters and when I noticed the difference between the old and new one, I returned all four back to the store. The old filters had 27 folds, but the new ones have only 22 folds (less filtering surface). This makes the new filters flimsy, less efficient, and with less support points it can easily bent and crumble inside the furnace.

We have been buying Honeywell filters for years. I ordered five online to have them shipped to my house. Once I tried to install the new filter, it would not fit. Notice the name on the actual filter had Flanders. Home Depot does sell Flanders AC filters for about $4 a filter. I am very disappointed! See the pictures below.

Good quality air filter, easy open package, have this filter on automatic scheduled delivery, every 3 months, so that upon receiving it I remember that the A/C filter should be changed

The last filter was horrible, a different brand, I needed a good one cause I had dust everywhere. This filter is doing the job...really well, inoticya difference within a couple days and am pleased. Would buy again

I have been using the FPR 7 version for years. These FPR 9 filters are a 1/2" shorter on one side than the FPR 7 filters.

Been using these a few years or so. Replace every 60 to 90 days. The last one I pulled out was coming apart. Like a hair ball on the intake side. thank goodness it wasn't the other side.

I made an air filter for an attic intake. Fits perfect.

The card board frame just buckled when using the A/C. This has never happened to my Filtrete filters. I bought this filter based on the filtration performance claims. After buckling there were large gaps where air by passed the filter. It was difficult to get this filter out after it buckled.

The 12-pack is a great value. But the quality is nowhere near the ones I've used before. ALL of the them lasts around 2 weeks (3-4 hours of use per day) and then it deformed.

The Honeywell FPR 7 air filter seems to work best for me. I like the higher FPR rating than the budget ones that I use to buy. I've been using the Honeywell filters for a couple years and I am very pleased with their performance. Although I check them every month, these will last for 90 days (probably longer). So, they are actually cheaper than buying the budget filters that last a month. I highly recommend these filters

Very, very bad quality. Not the same of the store. Useless.

The card board frame of the filter is paper thin and is too flimsy and makes the filter unusable after 7 days of use. For $20, its no where near the competition

Best filter quality for your A\C system.

I always buy this Honeywell air filter from Home Depot, fits perfectly in my furnace. I even buy extras for future use.

Cleans the air, keeps ducts clean, eliminates odors and removes allergens.

I was waoting on a box of nine hence the price and the waiting for weeks to hace shipped from outta state.... wow i got duped i am seriously going to need to know why we put a mixture of numbers a nd a few capital letters after or even for product titles... thos does not make the products super duper and the latest greAtest... it only puts me out of pocket and i still need the second filter.... first time ever buying and changing filters and its starting to be a real drag , anyways i believe this filter is probably fab if i vould actuLly in real life afford these filters for this actual price! filter at the 20 inch by 36 inch was just too flimsy to stay in place, smaller sizes would probably be just fine.

First time buying them I like the way they were made heavy and should hold up very well.

Great filter to use to make your house cleaner and smell better. During the COVID pandemic we added two 20" box fans with one of these 20 x 20 filters on the back of each one. I was amazed that our 1700 sf house actually smelled fresher after running these for several hours. Plus these FPR 9 (equivalent to MERV 13) filters capture viruses and bacteria. On the fan we leave on low all the time, just set the filter on the back and the fan suction will keep it in place. On the fan we run most of the time but do shut down occasionally, we put a bungee cord on it so when the fan is off the filter stays in place. I haven't run these long enough to see any impact on dust, but I do expect these to help in that area as well.

Repeat buyer of this air filter. These filters last and perform decently well, although I have not compared them to the lower stages of same Honeywell brand

Just bought a condo and the filter was disgustly dirty. The new filter fit perfectly and was easy to replace the old dirty one. At age 64 and female, I love being able to do things myself. Thank you Honeywell.
