The board is strong and wide, so once its set up, it's terrific. The metal holder on the end for the hot iron is a bit flimsy, but it does hold the iron (as long as one has the LIGHTER WEIGHT IRONS that are sold today). My one big criticism is that it is very difficult to lock the bottom metal piece into the OPEN position, and then TO CLOSE IT. I suspect that that will get easier over time with repeated use, but it is VERY TIGHT and DIFFICULT TO DO. PLEASE DONT DO IT with a hot iron in place !!

I use this ironing board for small projects. Easy to store, simple to set up and lightweight. It has small pads to protect the table top and there is a simple locking device to prevent the board from collapsing. The retractable iron rest sets it apart from other table top boards.

This ironing board has all the essential needed as with most traditional ironing boards. I like the fact that it has a retractable iron rest, and it folds neatly and compactly in a space, so its not in the way of things.

Just what I wanted. Table top, retractable iron holder, easy to store, portable, sturdy. However, the linen on one board side torn bit by bit within less than a month. I guess I have to cover it with additional linen.
