The product information on the Home Depot web site says that these will hold up to ten pounds. On the product package it says each clip will hold up to two pounds. That's quite a disparity.

It was nice enough outside I got to use these today and I have to say that I like these better than the wood ones I have been using for years. Here are some specifics: • They are bright which makes them easy to see if the fall into the lawn (that way I won’t mow them up). • They are a little wider and slightly longer than a wooden pin which makes grasping them a little easier. • The spring feels like it has just the correct tension to hold the clothes. • The plastic should last outside longer than the wooden pins. • They are smoother than wooden pins which should cut down on any potential clothing snags. • 200 come in two packs of 100 (which is more than enough for us so now we have clothespins for years!).

These are good clips for most uses. The clips are good for hanging clothes on the line to keeping your bags of potato chips closed, which is what several of these are already doing in my house. What I like: • The plastic is strong yet lightweight. None have broken yet. • The different colors are a nice feature. • The springs are standard and are providing enough holding power. • Price is pretty good especially for 200 clips (note: two packages with 100 in each). • Rated at 10lbs which is average for clothespins. Heavy items will need a few extra clips. These clips are pretty standard. Normal size and they held as I expected. For me, they met my expectations. I recommend.

These are a good buy. They are smooth so they don't snag clothes, and the can get wet without rotting or turning black like the wooden ones do. I would certainly buy these again.

They could be sturdier..

The plastic clothespins come in a large pack of easy to use clips. The clips open and close easily and will hold lightweight clothes on a line. These clips come in multiple colors with a resilient clasp. The clothespins may also be used for decorative purposes within the home. They are great for hanging wet artwork, and will keep the items hanging until dry.

The clips are good and nice, wee have been using in the drying rack and also with other thing to hold the clips. The clips come in different color and nice to use. we haven't had them long enough to see if the metal spring rust. but what ever the plastic clip does it one purpose , so hope you will like the color of the clips. We like this colored plastic clip

I received this item for free to write this review. The clothespins actually come in two packs of 100. The bright colors are really fun for the kids. They love to build forts and other art projects. We can use the clothespins to hang art projects from strings. They also work for hanging clothes. The plastic doesn't soak up water like wood. These are prefect for you home or school.

when ever the weather here in North East Ohio is nice enough I hang out clothes outside to dry, really cuts down on the electric bill since I have an electric dryer. Normally I only use wooden clothes pins as they tend to work better, especially with heavier clothes like jeans and sweatshirts. These pins are nice and sturdy, and the bright colors make them easy to find if they drop on the grass. I did find though that on windy days I am better off using my wooden pins on heavier items.

These clothespins are lightweight yet sturdy. They hold up well to multiple uses. The colors are vibrant and fun and these clothespins are not only for hanging up clothes. I have used them to hang up kids paintings to dry, and also to close bags of chips. They can be used for crafts to hold pieces together while waiting for glue to dry. I took a few and glued on a small magnet to hang on my fridge to hold quick notes. Fun to have and use.

Well, they're clothespins! What can I really say about them other than they do the job and are rot and mold proof plastic instead of wood. They are very colorful and cheery to use and to look at on the clothes line too. I haven't had them long enough to judge if the metal spring rusts quickly, or takes a good long while first. I like the fact that I don't have black mold on them like the wood clothespins get after awhile. So, I hope you enjoy the colors as much as I do!

I admit to being old school about clothespins, but the "new" wooden ones have become more and more flimsy, so I took a chance on these plastic ones. VERY nice surprise! The grip strength is excellent, and the gripping head area is wider than wooden clothespins. I'll have to see how well these hold up, but anticipate there won't be ANY issues. Wooden clothespins can discolor in weather, and then a nasty little stain is left on whatever they've gripped. The weight these plastic ones hold is also VERY good, and hold heavy items like blankets with no problem! Again, I'm VERY pleased. Thank you!

they turned out a little big for what i needed. I was hoping for some a little smaller

These are not good they dont hold up to to pound which is the only reason i purchased them for pants towels and sweat shirts Will they dont hold them you have to use 4 per item and then pry the wind dont start blowing because the pins pop of and the clothes end up on the grownd and almost always have to be washed again i really wish i still had the packaging because i would have returned all of them
