This is a very sturdy and strong shelf with added cross supports on the underside, (see photos). It is painted or powder coated with a durable finish and made so that it allows excellent air circulation around and through the shelf unit. It comes with the plastic inserts that not only secure it to the legs, but allow for infinite adjustments in height and spacing of each individual shelf.

This product is an excellent add on to the system or to build the shelving piece by piece as needed for your needs , however this shelf can not be used by itself as it is designed to use with other components that need to be purchased separately or as an add on to the system. The shelf is very big and seems heavy duty and item says holds 800lbs which is amazing for shelving that would be perfect for the garage .

I needed a wine storage rack for some overflow bottles. I was worried primarily about function so the utilitarian appearance was fine with me. In fact, I can see how this would compliment some homes since the industrial look is so in. The parts came well-packaged and with good directions. It was easy to follow the directions and assemble. I did it by myself though I could see how at some points it would have been nice to have a second set of hands. I appreciated that they included an extra set of the black stoppers in case you needed them. The wine sits nicely in the grooves and it feels sturdy. I'm pleased with this storage.

First of all this rack can hold a total of 800 lbs. I don't know how much each wine bottle weighs but after you stack 24 of them on this rack you shouldn't come close to overloading it. That in it's self should convince you that this rack is well made. Each of the shelves is fully adjustable. I laid it out and decided what height I wanted each shelf to be before starting to assemble it. I tried to make each shelf height about the same. Giving the top shelf a little more height. I struggled a little with the assembly at first but after the first shelf was in place It was pretty easy. The steel construction is very easy to wipe off and keep nice and clean. I should have this rack for many years to come.

I give it an average of 4 stars. It is a 5 star display rack, but a 3 star storage rack ... I have been using wire shelving for 25 years. I love the way it looks, its ease of cleaning, its airflow and its customizable. I currently store my wine on flat wire shelving. I saw the wavy wire shelving and thought, what a great idea. I will no longer have to use 'bookends' to stop my bottles from rolling. It was easy to set up. The shelf clips fit perfectly in their grooves. None of them slide down while installing the shelves. I find the trick to these is to place the clips, in their grooves (you will hear them clip in place), then gently slip the shelves collars over them. Once level, put your fingers under the clips, and use a rubber mallet to tap down the shelves. If you feel a clip move. Tap up the shelf, and re-seat the clip. A little tapping, 5 shelves, and adjustable feet, this has no wobble whatsoever. It is great as a display rack ... there is ample space between shelving to see all bottles (see pic). On the 4 wavy wire shelves, there are grooves for 6 bottles, with a capacity of 24 bottles. It is not so good as a storage rack ... it really needs another shelf or more wavy wires. With its ample space, you can stack bottles (see pic). My concerns with stacking: Each shelf is rated for 200 pounds (800 pounds for entire rack), and as a 200 pound man, I would feel comfortable standing on the reenforced framing of a shelf, but the bottles only sit on 2 wavy wires; the neck overhangs the third (see pic). Those wires are welded at the top. The weigh is being held up by 4 small welds. You can stagger the bottles (neck front / neck back [see pic]), to spread the weight on the 3rd wire, but based on the shape of the bottle, stacking can get precarious. Also, it would be nice to use the top flat shelf, but the wires are too far apart to easily place a bottle or glass. You can balance a bottle on 3 wires (see pic), but after a glass of wine, it gets harder.

I want a return. I ordered this item expecting the entire four tier shelf. Why would I order this item and only need one shelf. Not even the rack came with it. Who would need a shelf with no rack.

Bought the complete shelving unit and was able to add this one additional shelf. Great product and easy to move shelves to add this new one.

Super strong shelf! This shelf is well made with smooth edges and solid color throughout the steel. The installation clips fit together well and provide a snug fit. I have several other brands of this type of shelving system and now I regret not getting this brand before this. The shelf is rated at 800 pounds and I am certain it will hold it..I only have about 50 on it as I am storing glass jars. I love the size as you can put larger boxes on it than the other shelving units I have. Great product and the customer service was good with a delivery issue. I was a bit surprised that it was not wrapped better for delivery, just put between cardboard with no padding. The taping could have been better as it was ripped when I got the package. But, Great product and no damage!

This is a well built, strong and sturdy shelf unit for adjustable pole-type shelving units. The black finish on the shelf is sturdy and well applied. The wire that makes up the shelf itself is very strong and it will easily hold the weight rating of the shelf unit. These shelves can also be custom mounted in other configurations so that you have a sturdy but open shelf. I use mine for storage in my shop so the shelves themselves don't collect sawdust. Very strong!

This 24 in. x 48 in. shelf is designed for use with an existing Honey-Can-Do shelving unit . I intend to suspend it across a 22 inch loft opening. It is rated at 800 pounds so a 100 pound storage will be great. Urban contemporary black finish is solid. Powder coating seems tough for a storage shelf. It has multiple cross ties to strengthen the floor. Also the span is very strong.

I had this shelf assembled by myself in about 10 minutes. It works great in my pantry to hold extra wine and can even hold some glassware. I added two wine glass racks to the underside of the top shelf using zip ties. I spaced the shelves closer together and that left me with plenty of room to hang my glasses. Overall I'm very happy with it and it keeps my wine easily accessible instead of getting buried behind things in the pantry.

This is a great wine rack. It holds twenty four bottles. It's easy to put together. It looks high tech. Very simple design. I own a large matching shelf and they look so good together. Its a wonderful addition to my sons man cave. It's chrome, There are four tiers. It's about waist high. It took me around twenty five minutes to set up. I'm thinking of ordering a second one

The Honey-Can-Do poles and shelves went together easily (once we decided the best way to assemble them) and are very sturdy. It was nice to be able to buy component parts to get just the size we needed to fit in our closet. The parts came with absolutely no directions! For us, assembly was a two person operation. We attached the black clips near the top of the 4 poles and slid the top shelf down to lock it in place. Then we stacked the other shelves on the floor and put the bottoms of the 4 poles through the appropriate holes in the stack of shelves. We then pulled the shelves up one at a time to a level above where they would rest (we held them up using 2 wire coat hangers that hung through the shelf above)and set the black clips in place. Then we lowered the shelf into place, which secured the clips. We did this for each remaining shelf. The unit is easy to take apart and reassemble if you need to.I would say the cost of the unit seems high. It was over $200.00 on sale.
