Good thing Home Depot discontinued this item. It never produced steam. The cloth was just cold damp, except in the very center. That silver-dollar size area was very hot to the touch. What a waste of money.

The Quickie steam mop is exactly what you pay for, though I would recommend spending the extra 10-20 dollars to get a better one. It heats up in 30 seconds and after you turn the dial its starts steaming, but god help you if you have to pause for more than a quick second. Once that dial is turned the tank starts emptying. If you forget to turn the dial off when you unplug the steam mop, it will drain out onto your floor in under 5 minues. The opening where you pour water is incredibly small but usable, but NEVER attempt to turn the mop more than horizontal with the floor because the cap doesnt work very well either and the water will spill out everywhere. The good thing is the mop does steam quick and easily, good for fast cleanups but not in depth cleaning. Better for people with time on their hands, whereas I have a baby and 5 dogs so I`m starting and stopping frequently
