I love this shredder and think it fits the bill for the average homeowner .

excellent small machine.

Perfect for my home needs

It ran slow and jammed on first use shredding only three pages. I dug the shredded paper out of the gears and returned it. I also smelled hot and the basket was quite small.

You can only use three papers at a time and that is pushing it. It has jammed on me 4 times already. Now it is making an odd noise. Plus always have to empty

like the cross cutting but it runs hot and stops working so then you have to wait until it cools down. This is a negative for me.

works ok , pull out basket not strong when you lift out feels like it could break (on top) like that you can see how full basket is a bit noisy.

Received printer ready to operate. I've been using it on a daily basis and have had no problems. I especially like how lite weight it is and how easy it is to move from place to place. I'm sorry I waited so long.

I only have one 'con' on this product. It's a bit noisy with a high pitch whine; BUT it does a great job and is what I want.

Easy to get it working, it does have a off and on switch. It didn't mention it in the manuel, but thats ok too. Overall, I like it very much. Good job Home Depot..

The price of the shredder was ok but I will say that it definitely gets the job done. It tackled everything that I have thrown at it so far including credit cards. If your just using this at home to get rid of junk mail then it will do just fine. This guy might even take on heavier jobs with tons of stuff to shred but I haven't put mine to that test yet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Does not shred into confetti but small enough pieces for confidence personal information cannot be put together. Very well for home office. Quick, large bin, easy to use

Easy to fill, does cd's and plastic credit cards, easy to tell when it needs empty.

I am very happy with this shredder. It claims to take 12 pages at a time and I believe it, although I have only shredded 7 or 8 pages at a time. And it does shred credit cards with the greatest of ease. I think the price is reasonable given its performance. I replaced a 10 year old shredder, and this one is definitely superior technologically.
