Cheap pressboard, still smells like stain. Doors ok

I would not recommend this vanity. First, contractor had to cut out a portion of the back of cabinet for the water pipe and it still would not fit. So plumber had to be called in to move the pipe. Now this was not new construction, it was a same size upgraded replacement. I had to pay contractor and plumber for 2 trips each. Second, the drilled holes in vanity doors for knobs were not positioned correctly and the knobs were rubbing against each other. I bought new knobs a tad smaller but they still are too close together. The look of vanity is great and it was one of very few vanities that had a kick plate to the floor. But had to pay an additional $200.00 to contractor and plumber!

This cabinet is very well made, shipped in a well padded carton. No damage. But a word to installers and TO HD AND THE MANUFACTURER. It is important to know the width and depth of the drawers and the drawer-slide holding partition. We ran into a HUGE problem fitting around the existing drain line and the water supply shutoffs. Rather than entering through the center of the width, our existing drain line enters from a position just behind the partition, and a 45 deg bend takes it to the center of the sink. We had to do a lot of cutting and just managed a passage without hitting the left upper slide mount. And the cold supply would have hit the back of the lower drawer when closed. Was able to shorten the supply and install a new shutoff. Also: The hinge mounting screws are very fat and fit into plastic anchors. Much less room adjustment flexibility than if standard (thinner) screws were used.

Please be aware of the measurement of this cabinet. It is the size of a kitchen cabinet. When I got it home, it is 3 inches taller and 4 inches deeper than my old bathroom cabinet. It is made well and I had no issue with the ordering and store pick up of this cabinet. However, when you search for bathroom vanities on the Home Depot web site, I was not expecting to get a cabinet that was kitchen size. I had to cut 3 inches off the depth to get it to fit in my bathroom. The measurements were listed, but please be aware of the larger size.

Ordered this cabinet because I had a similar one. I was redecorating my bath and wanted the same cabinet style. I chose the toffee color this time because of the colors I had in the new décor. This cabinet is heavier than the previous one, but hopefully that means better construction? I don't know. I got good service from Home Depot - I ordered on line and had it delivered to my local Home Depot. They tracked the cabinet from Texas and gave me updates. It was delivered as promised and I had great service from the store personnel. Overall, I am very pleased with the cabinet.

The cabinet vanity is really nice and I am extremely happy to have a cabinet vs. a pedestal sink. The color is as it appears and looks very sturdy. The installers I hired also mentioned the same thing. Again, I did not install it but, I do not think they had any problems getting it installed.
