The umbrella is perfect for use of ease and small space
I'm delighted with the sturdy crank handle/pulley system to open/ tilt the canopy. The 6' diameter-- perfect fit for my 7' wide patio, either inserted in table center hole or freestanding so I can move it around for shade. Good UVA protection in heavy 'canvas fabric, also water resistant. Since my patio ceiling is 8' high ,we easily cut down pole length (over 90") to allow tilting without hitting ceiling.

Patio Umbrella with Tilt
The umbrella system operates very well but to tilt the cover, you must continue to crank the handle. This is not a push button tilt mechanism. We have the more expensive Sunbrella cover which appears to be of excellent quality.

VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE
JUST AS ORDERED, A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT THE TILT FUNCTION BUT, AFTER THAT WAS SOLVED, ALL IS GOOD!

As Advertised!
Easy to assemble. This 50 lb. base is just what we wanted to support our 6' diameter umbrella so that it would not blow over with a strong gust of wind.

Manufacturer defect
The canopy did not fit the frame!! The canopy was way too small. I had to return the patio umbrella. Since the bigger size was out of stock, I ordered the same exact 6 ft patio umbrella hoping it is just a glitch. It seemed like it was very good quality though.

PROVIDES SHADE COVER FOR MAYBE A SMALL CHILD!
I would love to know in what parallel universe this provides shade coverage of 28 square feet! Certainly not in the universe that I reside in. I am only 5'6" and even sitting on a chaise lounge with the back in an upright seated position, either my feet or my head is stuck in the sun. I have to constantly move the whole thing to try to stay in the shade, and even then some part of me is sticking out into the sun. This is ridiculous. Also, the whole thing looks funny as the pole that the umbrella sits on is very long and the umbrella very small. To add insult to injury, no instructions came with this so it was up to me to figure out how to get this up the way it is supposed to be, and all that work for nothing as it doesn't provide a decent amount of shade coverage. Very sorry I bought this; will just drag it back into a store and get something that functions as it is supposed to.

    Small Umbrella with Tilt
No one would be able to figure out how to use the tilt system because there are no instructions with this umbrella. I watched tilt instructions on youtube. There is actually very little tilt, & it is useless when the sun is low because the pole is so tall that the sun shines underneath the canopy. Some umbrellas have a tilt system that allows you to vary the amount of tilt so that the umbrella can be aimed against the sun. What works better with this umbrella is to simply not open the umbrella all the way so that the canopy is lower.

    Great umbrella
This umbrella was the top of the line with the auto tilt feature. A bit pricey because I bought it at the end of the season and the pickins' were slim. I use the auto tilt to deflect the late afternoon sun streaming into my living room windows. It acts like an awning. very cool!
