Colonial Mills and The Home Depot have a very high quality braided rug ! The 75% polypropylene 25% wool construction of the braided rug make for a color fast life. The wool makes it easy on your feet. The 4 foot by 6 foot size makes it a perfect fit under tour favorite rocking chair ! (see photos) The mix of blues and other colors of the Boston Common style rug allows it to blend into almost all decors !! It is also Made in Rhode Island U.S.A !!!

Home Decorators Collection Winthrop Winter Blues 4 ft. x 6 ft. Braided Area Rug is eye catching. I have several braided rugs in my house and like how this one made of Polypropylene (65%), Wool (35%), has thickness to it more than the others, even without a rug pad. A poly rug blend means it's stain resistant as I plan to use it in the kitchenette area where things drop and cleanliness is important, cleaned daily. It would also be ideal in any heavily trafficked space as it looks durable The rug is a good mixed color choice here and looks eye appealing in primarily blue with other colors like gray, brown and a lighter contrasting teal. It has a pattern as with braided rugs on both sides so is reversible offering a long life. The ends all around are nicely done and tight. I give it high marks, it won't disappoint.

I simply love this rug!! I love braided rugs they are classic and rustic and can really bring in great colors! I wasn't sure what to expect with this rug but really love it!!! It is called "Brick" and I can see why when you really study this rug it is made up of the following colors burgundy, navy, black, gray, pink, light blue,brown, teal, and cream. I love the color of this rug!! I would have never thought to mix these colors but they look really great together!!! This rug measures 4'1"x 2' x 1/4" thick, so I'm using it in my basement in front of the door. It's comfortable under your feet. It feels like wool and looks to be great quality! I really love this rug I would have loved it in a larger size!!!

After seeing the actual colors in this rug it wouldn't be first choice. However, that's not the fault of the rug and it doesn't affect the quality...it's just personal preference so that doesn't impact my review. As a matter of fact, my wife likes it on the kitchen floor and it does complement the tile nicely. And the dogs love it! That alone makes it a winner. The rug is well made. It's very tightly woven and all the sewing is precise and neat. No loose strings, fibers or edges. The vacuum slides over it easily but, due to it's small size and lighter weight you need to "hold" it in place with a foot while vacuuming. The instructions recommend not using the beater-bar on the vacuum. The tag says it Made in the USA from Canadian yarns. It also states that slight variances in colors are normal due to the natural fibers. It's made from 75% poly and 25% wool. I'd say these rugs are top notch for small area rugs and would be very useful in front of a door or in a smaller location like a bathroom. We'll be looking at more of these.

This Winthrop braided runner rug is gorgeous! It is 2 foot by 4 foot oval in a beautiful brick, country rose country blue, black, gray and cream! It is a great compliment to my front door entry, have had many compliments. Unrolled the rug and it laid flat immediately, It is made out of 75 percent Polypropylene and 25 percent wool. Vacuums up very nicely with the hard surface attachment on your vacuum. Suburb quality and it is made in the USA with the yarns coming from Canada!!

These rugs are very pretty and high quality. They were exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend them. It's nice that they have some wool in them too. This should make them last longer.

This is a great old fashioned rope braided rug, which has that classic design you might remember from your younger days. A subtle design, with medium and dark colors, and a heavy rope braid creating a thick area rug for walking on. It is not however a cushy pile rug, but it is a thick braided rug to use for those higher traffic areas, or places which you want this style of an accent rug underneath your feet. I think a study is a nice place for it, in the center of the room, or perhaps your home office. Anyway, this is a great quality rope braid, which can make a room a welcome comfortable place to be.

This is a really nice area rug! I really love the colors and the braided style! It's well made and a nice weight. The only kick I can give this rug is the lack of heavy weight! When these rugs are not made with a heave rope braid they have a tendency to slip and slide. If this rug is installed over a wood, laminate, or tile floor, I would recommend that some type of anti-slip backing be installed under it. Otherwise this rug will slip and may allow injury. Otherwise, this rug is just what you would want for your cabin/country decorating designs!

Winthrop Winter Blues 4 ft. x 6 ft. Braided Area Rug is an attractive, stylish and very high quality product with a classic, rustic homespun" appearance. The complementary color hues are interesting and are not too dramatic and look nicer than images on this webpage (imo). The 1/2" pile thickness is ideal and the fabric & stitching appear robust & durable. The wider oval dimension is unique and fits my entry well. As a plus, the rug seems to be reversible. On tile floor it does tend to slide around. Manufacturer used an industrial-staple to attach a small (use-care) card to rug, not best method IMO. Rug is tightly packaged for shipment , wrapped in plastic, packing tape and HD-Zip ties; use caution when cutting open.

I found this Home Decorators Collection, Winthrop Brick 2 ft. x 4 ft. oval braided runner rug to be a high quality rug constructed from 65 % polypropylene and 35 % wool. It would not be suitable for outdoor use and is reversible for even wear. The .5 inch braided spiral weave looks classic and gives a high quality look. I found it useful to use a small rug padding to prevent it from slipping on a wood floor but found it was very stable on a patio concrete floor. The rug comes with a 30 day warranty due to manufacturer defects.

This rug is beautiful. It is made of 75% polypropylene and 25% wool. We all know that wool in rugs is awesome, also long-lasting. As much as I absolutely LOVE wool rugs, I realize that some household abuse will RUIN my wool rugs (ie. exposure to water or fading), which I expect this rug would be better suited to, have a higher tolerance to. I did some research on polypropylene and found that polypropylene fibers are strong, durable, colorfast, fade-resistant, moisture resistant, mold/mildew resistant, highly stain-resistant, easy to clean, and good value. My rug will be used in an entry area, which means it will sustain abuse not only from wet shoes from rainy days, but also from snow, and I won't have to worry about it developing a mildew odor, which would mean cleaning it constantly. The vibrant reds in this rug are beautiful, and I would not want them to fade, so I LOVE that it is fade-resistant as my home is super sunny, which worries me at times for fading. I expect this rug to take a lot of abuse, and continue to look great for years to come. Located at an entryway, it will also save my costly wool rugs. Wool rugs tend to take a long time to dry. I expect regular water exposure/abuse to ruin a wool rug. I think this rug will be better suited to high moisture areas, water abuse, like at an entryway. When it eventually wears, it will be less costly to replace vs a wool rug.

Color true to what was advertised. Seems durable enough even with the cat sharpening his nails on it...
