While the design was what I was looking for, it was not as stable as I thought it needed to be. My husband added another piece of wood to it that I had painted black and it is perfect!

Installation brackets were barely sufficient for any substantial weight. Two 1" screws for 48" of shelf.......not the best plan.

Very hard to mount and keep level

I purchased two floating shelves. One we put up was difficult for some reason and slightly tilts down a bit. The went up easy and looks perfect. I am sure this is user error and has nothing to do with the shelf itself.

The shelf comes with 2 little screws to attach to the wall. Does not hold the weight of the shelf never mind putting anything on it. Would love to return but got rid of the box.

I am using this as a mantle on recessed fireplace. it looks great. The only problem is that it is not flat. Tilts forward so that any items placed on top slide to the front. I do not want to put pictures on it so the groove is of no use.

I ordered 6 of the mahogany shelves. They arrived in one box but were boxed and wrapped separately within that box; so they arrived in good shape. They feel like they are quality shelves. They met my expectations.

Shelve looks great and is quality material. The only problem I encountered was one of the shelves (I bought 2) tilted down when installed, regardless of how tight the mounting screw was. I finally just pushed a small wedge at the bottom of the shelf between the shelf and the wall to make it level.

I purchased two of these shelves for my nursery and painted them myself. They had lots of loose wood shavings on them when they arrived, so make sure to wipe them down good before painting. Hanging was difficult as they were not long enough to hang both sides in the wall studs. We opted to hang one side in a study and then used a reinforcer on the other side.

The shelves I purchased exceeded my expectations. Right size, color and great quality for the cost!

The most remarkable thing about these shelves is the creative packaging. It'd be very difficult for them to be harmed in transit. Nice stuff. Just what it's supposed to be.

I order 3 different sizes of the unfinished floating shelves. They arrived in great condition and were exactly what I expected. Now they are painted the same color as my living room wall and will be put up next week

Haven't installed the shelves yet, however they arrived well packaged to the store. Now waiting for my contractor to install. See that the keyhole back could be a problem, so I'm taking the safe route and letting a professional install.

I've now purchased 18 of these shelves to use to display awards at our office. They are absolutely the perfect size to hold an award, look stylish and created an impressive layout.

I needed these shelves for my son's books. We have limited space in our apartment and needed to utilize wall space above the glider in his room instead of finding space for an actual bookshelf. These did the trick & were inexpensive.

Went in like a champ! Only suggestion, use masking tape for a template.

I needed these shelves for my son's room to put books on. They are sturdy & really nice, they were just on the pricey side.

The holes to hang the shelves are cut into the wood at an angle so matter how many ways you try to hang them, they will not hang tight against the wall and tilt forward. I bought 3 of these shelves and all were impossible to hang (even with a professional handyman) so I returned them.

Great look. Watch how it is mounted to the wall if you are putting heavier objects on it. The one I received was slightly damaged. Can be fixed if you are handy.
