Picked up my chairs today for an engagement party this weekend...These chairs are not red. I ordered these to go with decor and I am basically stuck with the chairs. The party is 3 days away..Please be aware the color if the chairs is between a burgundy and brown definitely not red. How about one of the chairs we couldnt even put together because the piece of wood is not cut right..it doesnt fit the chair. We need to call tomorrow ti reorder the piece.. I am sooooooo dissapointed to say the least. Please dont waste your money on this product..wish someone would have warned me SERIOUSLY...

These bar chairs are noce but not great. The cushion seems comfortable for now but maybe after sometime it may be uncomfortable. Only time will tell.

Very comfortable and attractive. Looks great with my newly remodeled kitchen. They are really on the larger side and look nice.

We bought 5 of these at once. There is no center support on the seat..so when you sit on it you sink down. Very poor quality construction. Even though it is costing us a lot we are returning these barstools.

We have had two of these stools for over a year and decided to add a third. They are comfortable, acceptable sturdy and look great. The first chair came with a cracked cross piece and it did take some time to get a replacement, but otherwise we are happy with this purchase.

We ordered two chairs and had to have a third one sent because one leg was too short on one of the chairs. They sent us the third chair (no questions asked) and it wobbled worse than the first two. They chairs look great but, on hardwood floors, they are not even and steady. Honestly, I'm very disappointed.

Boxes did arrive slightly dented on ends, but chairs were in tact. After unpacking, could not find the hardware. You need to peel back the bottom of the seat cushion and look underneath the bands which hold the chair together. It is not visible to you without moving the bands. Attempted to use the instruction guide to place seat and back together. Screw holes in seat were too large, so you needed to place the washer on the front side of the wood, which made the screw too small to hold the seat and back together. We tried with several other people to assemble - all ran into the same issue. Will purchase pre-assembled seats from now on. Return was costly given cost of shipping, but that's my error. Won't buy for price at this point anymore.

One of the chairs was broken when I received and am still waiting for the return stickers. It will be a hassle to return such large boxes because it is too costly for UPS to pick up at the house. The height of the chair was not the problem but the height it was from seat to counter top.

These chairs are very comfortable. Very nice color not your typical dark brown. Easy assembly.

Eventhough the barstools were a bit difficult to put together they are well worth the effort. Part of what was difficult was that not all the hardware was in the package. We had to go get hardware to complete the build.

These barstools are very nice looking. The leather is so soft and the coffee color is rich. Assembly is straightforward, however, the pre-drilled holes do not all line up so you have to make some modifications in order for it to work. If you do not have an awesome husband who can fix everything, I would skip these in favor of something that doesn't need to be assembled.

After looking all over for a matched set of barstools and dining chairs, I settled on these. I am pleased with the color and appearance. One barstool arrived with a small rip in the fabric and HDC offered to ship another one right to me. The color was spot on and I think they will be durable and stylish for our vacation home. One note, assembly was a bit tedious; however, not difficult.

I purchased 2 of these chairs. The red color is gorgeous and they are very comfortable. Did my homework & shopped around & found these to be a great value.

I love this chair. The fact that the back is not just straight up but has a little lip makes it different from other chairs. I would just add that the cushions are very soft so if your bar counter is high, you may need to lower your counter if you just love these chairs like I do.

We bought six (6) of these chairs in total for our newly finished basement bar. --PRODUCT-- Product quality is high. Leather is nice. Chairs look great and are VERY comfortable. I removed the provided floor protector on the bottom of each leg and replaced it with a more wood-floor-friendly chair leg floor protector (acquired at local hardware store). --ASSEMBLY-- Product was packaged well in the boxes for shipping. My 10yr old son helped me assemble. Each chair takes about 15 minutes to complete. I used an electric screw diver (with clutch...don't over tighten and tighten evenly) with hex bit as well as a driver to put in the wood screws. Product comes with hex wrench, which I used for final tightening of all bolts. All predrilled holes aligned well.

I was so excited when I received my bar stools. I was hoping that the reviews I had read would not apply to my purchase - unfortunately, the comments about the leather not being tightly pulled against the frame were true on one. On the second one, the screws were stripped, making it impossible to assemble. The color is gorgeous, but I'm returning them both.

This was my first purchase from Home Decorators Collection and I was more than pleased. I took a chance knowing that sometimes what you see and order online is not always what you get when the actual items arrives....well, I was definitely proven wrong here. The packaging, assembly instructions, and quality of the items far exceeded my expectations. These bar stools are sturdy and look wonderful in our newly finished bar room. I am now addicted to this website.

They were hard to assemble, and are not stable now that assembled. We got three. One was perfect, the other 2 are wobbly, and my husband has a lot of skill and experience with these types of items.

Bar stools had no hardware to assemble them with. One stool had the left front leg a full 1/4 inch shorter than the right leg. The holes for the leg assembly weren't lined up.making it quite difficult to put together.

I bought three chairs and it took me awhile to put the 1st one together but the other two went pretty fast. The boxes were missing a coupe screws so I had to go and buy those. Also one chair was missing the floor protectors on the back legs so I had to buy those as well. Since I've only had the chairs for about two weeks, I really can't comment on the wearability.

The struts on both sides of the chair were poorly attached; 2 of the 4 I purchased were cracked and broken. The anchor piece of wood holding the legs together was awkward to remove, and the nails used to hold them together broke off in the chair and were difficult to pull out
