Looks like real wood floor planks
Ordered 400 sq ft to replace floor in kitchen, living room and hall. Shipment picked up at the store with no problems. Arrived in perfect condition. There was not one plank with a defect in the whole shipment of 20 boxes. I also had the installation kit which I strongly suggest to prevent damage during the installation. My installation was over a concrete floor. Prepared first the floor to level out where concrete had heaved up about 1/4 inch and raised a section of concrete along an outside wall. Next I opened a number of boxes and grouped planks together by pattern. Then on the day of installation I could take a plank from each pattern so I was not repeating a pattern to close another plank. Planks lock in place nicely. Tap ends together gently to not damage at the seam from too much force as you tap the end. If you have a crooked wall, set down the second row first to see how the first row should be cut. Boards can separate if the wall has a curve. If there is a separation, I found Elmer's wood filler in Golden Oak works nicely to conceal the seam. The floor is beautiful. I am very happy. Returns of unneeded boxes was without problems. I did the job by myself, a 63 year old Grandmother. You can do it too.

Love the mid color of this laminate (not too light, not too dark). Originally put it in a hallway, then a couple of years later decided to put it in my kitchen. When I first bought this product it was called Hampton Bay Natural Worn Oak. When I wanted to buy it again HD's website said it was discontinued. I did a lot of further research which took a lot of time and effort (I was relentless in trying to find it) and finally discovered that the name had been change to Decorator's Choice Natural Worn Oak. It would be nice if Home Depot cross referenced items in their database when they change the name of a product. It seems like a very simple thing to do if they were more organized and realized that someone might want to use the same product at some point. Get on the ball, Home Depot!!!
