This was the only chandelier with a central stem that could be considerably shortened, hangs from ceiling fan with 7 1/2 ft ceiling. We shortened the stem, upgraded to SKU 152-191 brown mable glass bells, lowered each of the 5 screw bases, carefully sawed off part of the finial nipples, so the Cree 40 W bulbs didn't show. Result was very good looking. HD should offer other "shortenable" chandeliers.

Love how it looks and is very sturdy. We had to modify it to fit our low ceiling, but that was not difficult. We leave it on most of the day and evenings, but LED bulbs keep our electricity usage low.

My husband and brother-in-law installed the light and found the process fairly easy even though they needed to move the light itself about 8" from the connection provided with our home when new. It is a perfect size for the area and, on a dimmer, provides the needed lighting for all dining and project jobs!

We are very pleased with this chandelier. We have it on a dimmer switch, so it's great to use as a light if we are working in the room and very pleasing for dining.

This light fixture adds just the right ambiance to the room. It's a very romantic light fixture yet simple enough not to over-power the room.
