I like this umbrella, the red fabric is just what I wanted. I just wish it came with a base, and the auto-tilt feature is a little annoying (at times the handle starts turning back, un-tilting the umbrella a little - should have gone w/ a manual tilt).

Lovely color, good balance between price and quality.
This is our second patio umbrella. The first one, a higher end brand and construction, still sits on our deck and we enjoy it all summer as we have for the past ten years. A new seating area meant the need for a new umbrella. As this space is out of the wind and used with less frequency we decided to purchase a less expensive product. The first one we got, although quite inexpensive from another company, was just too flimsy. We decided to take it up a notch. This umbrella seemed to bridge the difference - the crank and tilt mechanism are easy to use, the seams on the umbrella seem good and assembling it was easy. The plastic top seems like the weak link and I fear it will fade, split or crack with time. We had to snip away at the fabric to get the top threaded in properly. No complaints about free shipping. Glad to have the Sunbrella, fade-resistant fabric. So far, at just a couple of weeks, we are happy. I wish they could have left off the "Home Decorator's" logo on the crank. I am a no-label preferrer.

very expensive and disappointing
I bought a tilt umbrella to keep out the sun from my outdoor dining table. The cost was about $200 more than a normal umbrella would cost. The tilt has so little angle that it virtually does nothing to improve the situation and does not really block the sun anymore than a normal umbrella would.

Very nice umbrella
The umbrella was of high quality and very similar to umbrellas that cost much more. My mild criticisms are that (a) there were no instructions on how to attach the umbrella fabric to the arms - although this was pretty easy to figure out, and (b) it wasn't at all obvious how to tilt the umbrella. Our previous umbrella had a metal tab on the pole that you activated to tilt. For this umbrella, once the umbrella is fully opened with the crank, if you continue cranking, it then starts to tilt.

Easy to set up
This umbrella was easy to set up. Opens nicely. There were no instructions as to the "auto-tilt," so we spent some time looking at it and finally realized all it meant was that if you cranked the umbrella all the way, it tilts automatically at the top. Felt a little silly once we figured it out. Overall, very nice umbrella.
