This nailer is easy to load.
This is the first nailer I have owned, so I have no background for comparisons, but I like it. I used it to completely enclose a new 12' x 24' room with studs and OSB inside my metal shop building with no problems at all.

Nice Nailer.
Really like the nailer, so do all the guys on my crews. Just wish it had a rafter hook. Wonder if it's an option, hmmm.

I have only had on 1 house remodle. It works great so far. Only shot 1 box of nails. Much better than old gun. I really like the way it handles & shoots. I would buy another.

    Exactly What I Expected
The nail gun worked perfectly right out of the box. Shot over 1,000 nails the very first day! The weight is excellent for a full size nail gun. Loading was easy. The adjustment for nail depth was a little confusing but I figured it out with a little trial and error.

This is the one framing carpenters use.
Light weight with good grip. I have other tools of this brand and they are good. I checked with good quality framers in my area and this is one of the most popular. It came with the 'air chuck' already in. works great. I like it.

    works great
The only drawback is the lack of a matter hook for the gun. No complaints after20,000 run through it

      HASENT SKIPED A BEAT
I like the manual & auto switch, first setting up & then go back & nail so it won't get away! I am building my rafters in my garage for a sugar shack. I was looking for a inexpensive framing nailer that goes the distant in between projects.

      Hitachi Nail Gun
This is a great product, I have been very happy with mine, I have used it many large projects as the single nail gun to nail a lot of sheathing as well as 3 1/2" nails for studs and other heavy nails, it has always performed flawlessly, I dont know what people are talking about it not feeding, I have used mine in every position imaginable with no issues, maybe they got a bad one, love the plastic collated nails so much better than wire, I definitely would buy this one again and would also like to have the NR83 so I dont have to switch out nail strips as much, I love how lightweight this nailer is

Worked fine for about a dozen times then jammed
Used this about a dozen times then it started to jam. The mechanism that pushed the brad nails gets stuck so the pressure to feed the brad nails fails so you get a misfire. Not good to get misfires on your trim. Very frustrating. Today the darn spring that pushes the brads broke. Not happy with HItachi. Not impressed. Will have to buy different brand now.

        Great Gun
I like this gun very much it has a full range of nail capacity. It can shoot 5/8" up to 2" brads. The air button on the back makes it easy to clean off what your working on. Some people have complained about it jamming, but if you load them all the way to the bottom of the nail magazine it doesn't seem to jam. I love this gun and would recommend it to friends and family. Hitachi hit on the head again with this one.

        Great unit.
I finished a 550 square foot room with 3/4 inch tongue groove pine w/ this 18 gauge 2 inch nailer and not one board has come loose. During the project i had to remove a warped board that i had nailed down and had to use a crow bar to remove the board. the nails pulled through the board then i had to remove them individually. i am surprised I could complete the project with such a high gauge nail. great little gun, never jammed over the 6 weeks it took to finish the project.

          Great replacement nail gun
Replaced a bostitch that quit working mid project (was practically new). This one was on sale for a great price and shipping was very quick. Will buy more of these nail guns as the rest of my bostitch guns fail.

Contractor Grade at a good value
After researching several framing nailers, I chose the Hitachi NR90AD due to its excellent history in the field with my local contractors. Big Boxes sell other brand names at lower prices, but for a few bucks more, I upgraded to something I knew would perform with very low risk of future problems. So far, the unit has performed without failure, and has provided me with quick and accurate nail placement, no failed or jammed loads, and easy maintenance. I have undertaken a large renovation project in my home, and for the past 4 months, the NR90AD has not let me down, saving me time, and performing the job efficiently and effectively. Highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a framing nailer that will be around for years to come. Don't settle for the big box savings, spend a little extra, (it isn't much more), and you will have a product that everyone will want to borrow, instead of you needing to borrow someone else's nailer!

          just what i needed
i needed a good finish nail gun for smaller stock and projects that call for finner brad like when i build a jewelry armoire, this is perfect. It will do larger size but i have another gun(Senco) i use for base boards and moldings and any projesct i need 1 1/2" to 2" nail but many times i needed a good brad nailer and this fits the bill. No complaints, no jams, no problem.

            Great tool
I borrowed this tool from a cousin and I liked it. I look for the price and I couldn't find a more inexpensive place. I bought it and it's been working great since then. Can't go wrong with Hitachi Pneumatic Tools

I have not had this tool for that long , but I have used it quite a bit since I bought it. It has the power to sink 3 1/2" nails in LVLs. It will hold 5 clips of nails and is very easy to load. Its light and comfortable to use. Its a well built tool.

            Great Nailer
I've had this nailer for over 3 years now, and I've never had it jam on me. It drives 3/4" nails just as well as it drives 2" nails. Depth adjustment is easy, as is loading nails into the magazine. Great buy, you won't regret it!

            Light and powerful however ??
I purchased 2 of these guns about 3 months apart during the winter and used them in a commercial framing environment outside framing in homes. Both of these guns had the drivers break in half approximately a month apart from each other. I am not sure if the cold conditions played any part in it and am waiting to see if Hitachi is going to warranty them.
