The threads on each piece are well cut and without blemish or irregularity. Stainless Steel is a totally safe product for use with parrots - other metals except those that are nickel plated - tend to be bird-toxic in the long run. The eye portion isn't completely closed as I would prefer it to be...but I've been unable to find eye bolts which have a completely closed eye. The pricing for eight (8) units is advantageous relative to purchasing them one at a time, plus they come in a box which makes the product easy to both store and find when needed.

Just the right item, and fast delivery

On one hand they brag about its ruggedness and on the other hand they caution about using it for demanding loads. It seems to be well made however.

Product listing states working load as 1300 lb, actual product comes with tag saying load is 375 lb.

Item was sent to Home Depot twice. Twice the item was made out of the wrong metal. After the second time, I bought the item else ware.

Bolt was well made and finished nicely.

This brand/model eyebolt claims to be 2”, but that’s OAL. The actual threads are only 3/4”. Shank from bottom of eye ring to end of threads is about 1”. Eyebolts are usually length sized by thread length or at least shank length. Decent quality, but if you need full threads buy a different brand.

I do not know if this will work. I need to know the load limit.

The eye bolt is 3/8 inch diameter but not 16 inches long - not even close. Like the picture shows the thread is about 2.5 inches long.

The length is the overall length, including the eye, not the usual length of the threaded part.

Without the working load limit, how do I know if it can do the job or is crap from China?

The dimensions given led me astray.I needed 1-1/2" threaded portion rather than 1-1/2" over-all length.I returned the product.

Great item, I use them for my grape trellis. I purchased 3 1/4", as well as the 4".

Just as promised.
