Does everything I need it to do too give me a really real chemical free shower.

I put a new one in every year. It filters out sediment in the water that dirties the shower. It is much easier to keep the shower clean.

We LOVE this filter so much it's on autoship so we don't forget to replace it in the time frame that is recommended.

I just looked this up cuz I smelled a little chlorine the other day. I take long showers, and it's been a year since I bought this with the actual thing that holds it. long ago I had one that at some point cracked or maybe i lost the seal in a move. i got a metal one w big cartridge this time.they seriously overchlorinate the water in my area (to meet some minimum chlorination at the end of the line where pipes are degraded

If you want smooth hair without any frizz, this baby is a must!!!! I can totally tell when I need to replace it because my hair tends to feel dry and frizz up, same with my skin, dry and itchy.

I have been using this sprite high-output filter for a few years, and only now I noticed the warning that it contains a chemical that is considered in California to cause cancer. For one thing, I don't understand how the warning could apply only to California residents; is something could cause cancer, that applies to everyone. Secondly, why the manufacturer placed a carcinogenic chemical in a shower filter? We protect ourselves from chlorine as we are being bathed with water that contains a carcinogenic chemical? Very frustrating, but of course it is my fault as I did not pay attention earlier to this warning.

We have been using this product for several years now and it works very well. I do not have that itchy feeling of chemical after showing and water does not smell and bad as before we started using the filter

I definitely notice a difference in the water with Sprite filters. The "12 month" replacement cartridge only lasts 8 months in NYC but it's still worth the price.

Haven’t noticed a greater or more forceful output at all. But if it softens water then that’s fine.
