    Read instructions.
Some have experienced difficulty with this product. Upon reading reviews and reading the instructions I say this. Floor must be dry and flat. I used a 6 mil barrier plus the best home depot barrier to install on cement slab Florida. . I removed each single little part board and hashtag stacked such elevated on upturned 2x4's for at least 72 hours with AC and ceiling fan going. The first 3 rows are critical and must be straight. Each board must be soundly in place with hard smack with recommended block to protect wood. Exterior grade wood glue use on ends and as needed. Allow great time. A professional would spend 8 hours to install 240 sq feet. Allow great attention to detail of the install. Attention(measure) how you will stagger and cut the boards to create a natural effect. The T mold I used hot glue to cement with barbell to apply pressure. Just installed yesterday.

    Great Choice!!
I was very dubious about this particular flooring, afraid it would scratch easily. Not so! I had it installed by Home Depot, and was 100% delighted! It is sooo very beautiful, pictures don't do it justice. The color is magnificent, and I haven't had a single scratch yet. I have a very large lab, and was worried about nail scratches. As of today, I haven't seen one.scratch, and it's been down a month. You see dirt and smudges, but you do with any flooring. I can't wait to do my living room! I would recommend it to anyone.

This is beautiful flooring, very easy to install and does not show any nicks from toenails from my many dogs.
I only have one compalint about this flooring. I ordered it because it was random cut lengths which told me it would be cut like regular hardwood flooring. Unfortunately there are only 6 peices in each box that are cut half the length as the other peices. I was expecting cuts in 2',3',4' lengths so I was really disappointed in this one aspect. I had to cut a lot of peices (which are easy to cut) but you loose the locking end by doing that which I didn't like. Had I known this was not truly a random cut lengths I probably would not have purchased it but I do love the floor and it looks beautiful in my historic home.

Beautiful, but does it quack like a duck?
First, this wood is fantastic looking. I would admire each piece before installing, it really is beautiful. But, I had plenty of time for admiration, as it took me longer to wipe down each board (sppottily covered in a waxy substance) than to install them. Glad I did, that was easier than doing it all at the end, as it requires some elbow grease. Also, the floor creaks. I found a forum that had many complaints about this issue with this product, but I think it is getting better with time. We don't use the room (spare bedroom), and it seems like with a bit more traffic, it may settle down the sound you hear with each step you take. Not a leveling issue, so just be aware. Otherwise, it was pretty easy to install; would have liked more direction with transition strips (no instructions on ordered and matching strips), but again, the most attractive floor I've seen, and love the concept of a wood floating floor.

      Looks good but noisey.
Floor looks good and went down fairly easy, but also dents easily and makes clicking and cracking noises as you walk. Subfloor was very sound and made no noise at all prior to install. I've worked as a contractor for years and have done many, many floors so I would say I'm well above average as far as experience and proper installation. Very frustrating considering its in my newborn sons room. Makes it impossible to sneak in to check on him if he's not in a deep sleep. Ok for the price.
