Bag broke in vacuum, made huge mess. Very inconvenient and waste of money. The other bag in the package came with a hole already in it!

Received this today no bags were included in the box. Never had problems before.with online purchases. If everything was included, I’d give it five stars.

Bought these for my new 14 gallon Ridgid vacuum. 15 minutes into the job lost suction and discovered the seam in the bag had failed. Tried again with the second bag in the package-SAME THING! Ruined my new filter as well. Not happy. Will go back to the generic brand at half the price.

2 bags for $40 and the first one ripped when I went to install it. Lightweight junky feel to the bag. As much as I dislike shop vac they make much better bags. Do better Ridgid for $20 a pop I should not need masking tape to make it work.

Just received and used it 2 times. Excellet suction power and plents of attachments.

There was a manufacturing defect with the VF3502 bags I purchased. The was no actual hole into the bag behind the cardboard collar or if there were perforations they were too strong to allow the first bag layer to open when the collar was pressed onto the inlet tube inside the vacuum drum - pressing any harder would have torn the cardboard collar off the expensive bag. I ended up using scissors to cut the necessary hole into the bag.

Using these bags for fine dust, like concrete cutting and grinding, causes the seams at the ends of the bags to come undo and blow out. Bot after 3 days of grinding, but only 10 minutes. Absolute mess when the bag busts open inside a 6hp vac and completely clogs the filter. Someone needs to design a bag that actually works and doesn't cost $10 each!

I bought this around Black Friday and it’s been great. I built a stand out of pvc and plywood to mount a bucket and dust separator and it’s been great. I will buy a longer and likely upgraded hose but as it comes out of the box, it’s effective.

I can see how the bag could get ripped pressing the cardboard collar onto the inlet tube. I started by loosening the center punched area before sliding it on. I'm combining the two filters in a Ridgid HD1400 so that I cut down on my clean up. I'm hoping that the bag holds up to the debris I throw at it. I have had other brand bags explode during use in smaller vacs but it's gotta be better then doing the clean up I'm used to with this one. Giving it four stars because of the potential of ripping the bag while attaching it to the inlet tube.

Have used it for vacuuming the car and indoor carpeted steps. Could not had gotten a better one for the buck

I am working on a large patio tile project that involves grinding of old thinset. I used a Rigid vaccum with Rigid brand vacuum bags and filter, Duststopper separator from Home Depot. 100% bag failure at the seams every time within 10 minutes. See pictures attached. These are way too expensive to replace every 10 minutes not including the inconvenience of having to clean up the filter the bags are supposed to protect. I went through 8 bags and every bag failed same place within approximately the same time frame. I would not recommend these bags to anyone with a project requiring vacuum and containment of dust.

Good value with 2 bags and 1 pleated filter. When it's time to change your filter picking this up is a good deal. Creates 2 stage filtration in the Rigid wet/dry vac. Fits my Rigid bag fine. Didn't pull out after vacuuming. Dust isn't good to breath in and even if you use a good pleated filter you're going to be exposed to dust as emptying the canister releases a lot of dust. You'll still have to deal with dust when taking out a full bag but the inside of the vac will be cleaner when you need to handle it later. If you're using more expensive filters like the HEPA filter these bags will save even more money by preserving the pleated filter more. The new style of pleated filter slips on easily and stays secure without any tools. Bag goes on easily too, just need to make sure rubber slips in between the two raised portions. I found it helps to poke the perforations with my finger first so I don't have to force it on using the cardboard. Highly recommend using the bag indoors along with a filter. Just remember to remove and empty the canister before picking up wet stuff.

Great deal on a convenient combo pack of filter and two dust bags that will fit most units between 12-16 gal. We've had a 16-gal Ridgid wet vac for a number of years now, and I'm a big fan of the dust bags. Not only do they make emptying the unit so much easier, but they really do cut down on the amount of plaster or concrete dust that gets blown around during cleanup. (Not HEPA level by any means, but you won't see much dust hanging in the air.) The filter, too, is great, easily removed and reinstalled, and you can get some extra life out of it by taking it outside and banging off some of the really thick dust. Overall, just a great deal on a very convenient package. Highly recommended.

I rigid vacuum is likely the best unit made. We have several of these and they have held up like no other. I have used them for cutting grout out for a 900 sq foot kitchen multiple times. The vacuum's work so well and they run even when full. Keep a good filter on and it will run forever. They did not overheat even when they were packed with grout dust. I suggest getting at least one. Get a large one for bigger jobs and get a smaller one for every day type work.

These bags and filter are a must have if you’re doing a cleanup project indoors and want to make a quick easy cleanup. The bags are simple to install, you just snugly slide the cardboard flange over your vacuums inlet tub and basically set the bag inside the canister in the shape of a horseshoe. The filter simply slides over the air outlet that goes to the motor and your ready to use. The bags are very strong and hold a lot of dust and debris. The filter is very strong and high quality.

I took a chance hoping I could use these vacuum bags in my old rigid shop vac. The bag attachment instructions show an internal "nipple with ridges that hold the cardboard flange on the bag. Since my old vac doesn't have this feature the bags won't work on my vacuum. The filter on the other hand will work if I use the old spin nut to hold the filter in place. I'm giving this 3 stars because the dust bags don't fit my Ridgid 16 gal. shop vac and there was nothing in the product description I was given to indicate how to check compatibility beyond the size of the vacuum. As noted on the packaging and my vac, the filter fits fine and installs easily. You just pull the old filter off of the white button and snap the new on in its place. The issue with the bags is they come with a cardboard collar that needs to be set over ribs on the inner inlet tube of the vac (see photo of bag). My inner tube is cut flush with the inner wall (see photo) and there are no ribs. My vac is about 10 years old. I went back to the store and checked out the current models and their inner tube is definitely different, so validate that your model has the ribs as shown in the diagram before purchasing.

I have always been happy with the performance of my Ridgid shop vac but emptying it often produced a mess. When I found these dust bags and filter I had to try them. I vacuum up a lot of sheet-rock dust and fine saw dust so when it came time to empty it I had to take the vac outside and dump it a plastic garbage bag. Now, I get to pull the bag out and simply drop it into a trash can. I believe the bag also acts as an additional filter which means less dust is returned to the air when I vacuum - win-win.

The bags work great for easy cleanup especially when sanding sheetrock or collecting moldy and mildewy debris. An extra layer without needing to buy a more expensive main filter. Be sure your vacuum has the double ring on the inside collar for the bag to be attached. The medium of the filter bag feels unwoven which does a better job at collecting fine particles. The regular main filter is standard. Inside diameter is 4 1/4 inches. Height is 8 5/8. The quicklock means you don't need the twist lock for it to stay in place.

The Dust Bags are an excellent complement to the vacuum. The standard filter works great on its own to capture small particles but combined with the dust bags they make it easy for clean up on particles such as wood sanding dust and sheet rock compound dust. The dust bags attach directly to the inside intake opening. Once filled will debris you simply remove it and dispose it for a dust free cleanup. The standard filter is great since you no longer need the nut to secure it. You simply install it like you would any other filter and the rubber seal on the filter make a snug fit onto the threaded shaft. I highly recommend this filter set for everyone using the Rigid Shop Vacuum.

These Ridgid filter kit comes with one standard filter and two bags. I own a 16 gallon ridgid vaccum and with some time the filters wear out. You can wash and rinse them out but as with many things they loose their strength. After I installed my filter which is as easy as pushing it into the housing I installed a vaccum bag. I immediately felt a difference in the performance of my vaccum. It sounded better and the suction level increased. These will extend the life of your vaccum motor. These are large bags and filter so check to make sure they will fit your vaccum.

A good upgrade over the standard filter system which comes with the vac. I have had a bag like this installed in my vacuum for quite some time now and I don't even have a drop of dust in the drum. This combination really does a great job of trapping all the dust. I have a pre-separator attached to the vacuum as well which collects all the big chips and with this filer system on the vacuum itself, I know I am capturing all the dust and not just circulating back around the shop. Best of all, when its time for a new bag, just throw it away. No making a mess after just cleaning one up with the vacuum. Airborne dust is so dangerous. Do everything you can to trap it.

This filter kit came with two dry dust bags and a new filter. Everything properly fit my Rigid 14 gallon WD14800 wet/dry vac. Installation of the filter was easy, using just a simple push through without much pressure. The white nipple of my wet/dry vac motor popped through to secure the filter without much trouble. The two dust bags also fit over the vac tube easily and positioned themselves between the two ribs to seal the bag. The bags had plenty of room to fit inside my we/dry vac housing. All of the components in the kit were of good quality and there was no leakage of dust and debris while vacuuming, especially with the fine powder that comes with demoing tile. Overall good product and performs its job properly.

I bought these today, and while looking the bags over when i got home i saw the same thing others have complained about. This is odd too, because the filter bag that came with my new Ridgid vac is sealed much better. Rather than waste time going back to the store i have come up with a good way of fixing the sealing end of the bags by using hot melt glue as you can see in the pictures. A bit time consuming, but much less time to use as they came and having to chance a big mess inside the vac. Only advice i would give here is to be careful when using hot melt glue so you don't burn your fingers. The only other issue i have with the product is the way the instructions are in another language only..........I don't speak the language.

I also do not have to worry about dust all over me when I dump out the vacuum I just pull off bag and toss in trash
