I just ordered a tube of this. Then i go back and look at reccomendations and it specifys inndoor only ? I need it for caulkingvaround chimney cap….. sobwill it sustain under rain and outside elements ? Need to know asap ! Thanks

our Chimney stopped up not long after sweeping it... We realized our Thimble had shifted and cracked ... After searching around, we found out we could put a liner in our Chimney which was a lot less costly then replacing the whole Chimney... So thank you... Our Tee part fed through the Thimble did break, we had to order another Tee, all was great and it works great.. Thank you

Very easy to apply. This product went on on much better than regular caulk. I used a very large bead. It stayed in place and did not run. I sealed the vent pipe from my boiler where it entered the castiron pipe into the chimney.

Excellent caulk! We used to seal up areas in our commercial oven.

I used this caulk to seal a gas fireplace glass where the old seal had cracked. This stuff was easy to work with and was fully cured in 24 hours. The seal works great and the high temperature capability (650 F) should be more than enough for this purpose.

I used it to seal a water heater exhaust pipe. It worked fine.

I used this high temp caulk on a baking mat, as part of a candy mold. Not a typical workshop use, but it performed well in a 400 degree F. oven. Ease of use is similar to most other silicone caulks.

So far it has held up well from the rain and elements. The real test will be when I fire up the fireplace in the winter time.

The high temp caulk did a great job repairing a cracked top on my stove. Easy to use and cured fast.
