Great Quality, Poor Color Match
I purchased this molding to compliment the Burnished Straw cork flooring I just installed in our game room. I balked at the price, but considering what I invested in the floor, I decided to pay extra for the matching trim. Problem is it doesn't match. The molding is a high-quality stained hardwood, and I realize that color variation in the cork is expected (all mine was surprisingly consistent), but it wasn't even close. The molding I received was more of a typical medium brown oak stain rather than with the reddish hue as seen in the cork. I would have been much better off, and saved considerable $$$, by buying unfinished T-molding and finding a stain that was a closer match.
