Easy to install the new door handle.

It is very deceptive in the description. The holes to make it work are in different places not to mention when I got the package it was all beat up from bouncing around in the box.

Didn’t work with the Anderson door gag to order the piece from Anderson and it was much less then the Home Depot part

Excellent price compared to other sellers. I had to reconfigure the lock to work on my french door but I followed the directions and didn't have a problem.

This should be sold with the handle set or under them on isle 18 bay 4 in west Windsor. Instead you cant find it in the store. So when your lock fails you can come buy the handle, dissemble your latch, open the box and realise you dont have the internal peice that should have came with it. Look online to find it and realise its only sold online and now you have to tape your door shut until it gets mailed to you. So thank you home depot and anderson for screwing up my day.

This product was a good replacement, however, one of the screw slots did not match perfectly with the receiving slot on the door. Off by less than 1/32" in which the screw had to be "angled" into the door's hole. I was still able to a flush insertion of the screw so there was no issue to open and close the door.

I have had an excellent decorator security screen door for several years, however, the dead bolt lock springs failed over the years and needed replacement. With this new dead bolt replacement part I was able to reuse the key locking portion of the lock. It was a perfect fit, and easy to install.

Description calls for a "Prime-LineHeavy Duty Non-Handed Security Door Mortise Lock Insert" Reversibility is virtually impossible. The enclosed instructions give detailed guidance, however the product does not match the pictures or parts. An expensive Pain.

My old screen door lock was hard to turn and lock or unlock. On further inspection the metal in the the slide bolt mech was worn out. I replaced it with this and it works like new now. One note and the reason it didn't get five stars is because you may have to drill another hole for the sheet metal screw on the face plate. On mine the here's we're not exact as the old one.

Reversing latchbolt was a little more difficult than expected. However I got it done after a few minuets. Reinstalled with no problem.

While the reversible latchbolt seems like a great idea, in reality it is not. In order to reverse the latchbolt you have to unscrew the entire lock insert and as soon as you unscrew the last screw the cover pops off and the tiny springs shoot across the room. The next 20 minutes are spent trying to find the springs and then 20 minutes are spent trying to get the springs back in where they belong. Once you have done that installation is really easy and it is less expensive to replace the lock insert than the entire lock. I am hoping this lock lasts longer than the first one, as it only lasted 5 years. I would expect a lock to last pretty much forever, and that would include the insert.
