Good Item for the lowest Price
Pro: Very easy install, low price. Con: Motion detector is very sensitive, even at the lowest range settings it detects tree limb and leaf movement 20 ft away.

Perfect for my need
Great light. Perfect for my garage and way better than the duel light I replaced it with. Thanks Home Depot!

180-Degree Outdoor Motion-Sensing Security Light
This company does not sell parts to the light so you must purchase a new lamp just to replace a broken part.

Great product at the right price
Performs as advertised. Compact, great looking and easy to install. Only minor issue was adjusting both ends of bulb to make good contact with terminals . .

    Let there be light!!
I purchased two and both are working great. Pleanty of light. I have one in my backyard and one facing the alley off of my backyard. motion detecters work well and help keep unwanted visitors from hanging out in a now lit up alley. Set to motion detection helps keep power bill down while keeping my area well lit.

    Not another one
I have purchased 3 of these in the last 5 years. Now I need another one. What does that tell you? I'm a slow learner.

    Nice bright light
The con of this light is there is no switch on the light itself to move it to automatic or manual. You have to do that through the light switch itself. Turn the light switch off for 1 min. to switch to automatic, etc. etc. Would much prefer to have the appropriate switches on the light itself. Also watch the minimum & maximum range as it can affect how the light works correctly. Through trial and error I finally got it to work the way I waned it to, but it could have been easier if it was not lacking the features that should have been located right on the light itself.

    looks great on my shed
This is a great looking sensor light, however this is the third one I've purchased over the past fifteen years. the first one lasted nearly ten years, with only one bulb change. The second one lasted about two before the sensor went out. I used it in manual mode, for the last three I hope the sensor, on this one lasts. in manual mode it defeats the purpose, You can get a lemon in any product you buy, so give it a try you might get a good one.

    attractive light, easy to install
bought this light to light my way as I approach my shed in my back yard. The IR sensor picks me up as I approach the shed and the light is very bright. Installed the unit in less than 20 minutes (novice). very happy with this unit.

    PERFECT AND CONSISTENT
I BOUGHT THESE 2 YEARS AGO SO MY DOGS WOULD HAVE LIGHT AT NIGHT AND FOR SECURITY REASONS--BOTH ARE ON MOTION DETECTOR 24/7. THE 1-3-OR 5 MINUTE OPTION IS GREAT AND I'VE HAD NO TROUBLE AT ALL (AS LONG AS I REMEMBER TO KEEP THE SWITCH ON)!! RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE

This product is sensative to small dogs.
I bought this item hoping that it would be sensative to small dogs going outside - and it works great. Instead of turning the light on before letting them out and remembering to turn the light off when they come in, this light does the job for me. Lights up my small back yard very nicely.

    Didn't last
Picked up one of these at my local HD about a year ago to replace an old twin head motion light. Installation was a snap, and the light worked fine for nearly a year, but the motion detector has stopped working and the light stays on 24x7. I'm going to replace it with a Lithonia OFLM 150Q since I can't find suitable single head motion light (wouldn't buy another one of these, its predecessor lasted nearly 20 years and this one barely lasted a year).

Very Poor - Save your money
Had for a couple of years. Light would come on by motion but then after the timer would expire would go out and not come back on even with motion. After power outage light would cycle all night long until sunrise. Light is in trash now.

      Don't waste your money
After replacing the first unit (which would not turn off) with a second (that would not turn off), I am junking this too! I will never buy another Heath Zenith product again!

        Never Works Never Will
Bought this light in July of 2011 and the light worked for about 2 days and then failed. We tried to rewire the housing wire and that gave the same result. This lamp is cheap and it behaves that way. Not very secure if you're in darkness

          UNCERTAIN ABOUT QUALITY OF PRODUCT
I bought two of these lights. Installed one and the light timer doesn't function (won't turn off after activated). Will be returning the faulty light. Not sure at this point if I'll take a chance & install the second one or return it also. TW

          Waste of Money and Time
Light often stays on, the only way to correct this is to move the sensor up or down, mostly down away from the light. The heat from the light effects the sensor and keeps it activated. DO NOT do what I did and mount it 12 feet over the driveway on the house. Constantly getting the ladder out to make repairs. After two years the bulb has burned out, time to replace the entire unit! When I bought my house in 1999 I installed two flood lights w/ motion sensors, paid $20 each...they still work today and only have replaced 2 or 3 bulbs...old school is better!

          Poor
my third one in three years just failed. Of course at first you are fooled and think it is only the bulb and waste $8 on a new bulb. NOT recommended.

I Used To Have Good Luck with Heath Zenith
I have a huge place and 12 years ago I purchased all Heath Zenith dual floods. I never had to take one back out of about 8 purchased. I also was able to get the full ten years out of each light, no complaints, After repainting, I replaced all fixtures that wore out and the ones still working but were just corroded with the single lamp 5525. I have never had so much trouble with one product in my life. One or two has stayed on and the other three or four won't light after just a few weeks. I can hear the thing click so it detects motion but does not light, not even in test mode. I have been around the block with the so called techs who do nothing but place blame on the consumer. I have been told it is the household wiring. Well, it's new, and installed by professionals and everything else in the structure works and never shorts out, only the motion lights. I have been through all of their trouble shooting... place black tape etc. No, it is the unit! As some of you might have noticed, the ones that are purchased at home depot also have a smaller base than the box and doesn't quite cover the box. And if you notice the thing is not plumb to itself the light it tilted and you can't straighten it. I have also been told to tap the sensor to loosen up the stuck relay...my neighbors thought I was nuts. I have also been told to not flip the switch because of a power surge to the unit therefore causing it to malfunction. Just make a better product and also hire better phone associates who don't hang up on customers when the employee is proven wrong.

            Motion sensor not reliable
I have purchased 2 of these lights and both suffer from poor quality in the sensor sensitivity. At times the light comes on all day and night, then at times it wont come on at all.

STAYED ON CONSTANTLY DAY AND NIGHT
After the install I put it in test mode. Light came on and never went out after that. Upon scrutination of trouble shooting guide it tells you that if your motion light shares a circuit with a garage door opener, or fluorescent lighting it likely will stay on constantly. To find out I turned off the breaker to see what items turned off with my motion light. The garage door opener shut down, my "Fluorescent Lights" in the garage and laundry room also went out. Turns out there is a oscillating coil in these items causing motion lights to turn on and stay on. With the increased use of fluorescent lighting this could turn into a bigger problem.

            don't waste your money
I bought this light and it worked well for 1 year, then it continously remained on during the day and night! There's no way to reset it or correct the problem. I would not recommend this at all. Heath-Zenith needs to recall this product. If you buy this light, your electric bills will skyrocket.

              Excellent light
I installed this light on our driveway area, it lit up the entire area! It did NOT have the dusk to dim feature which is a bummer, I could recommend the Zenith Model #SL-5597-WH as well, they have the dusk to dawn.

                Like my own personal sun
I installed this over my garage, replacing an old junky light with twin PAR38 bulbs. The light is compact and fits perfectly on a round external junction box from Home Depot. The sensitivity is very good. This is a flood light, lighting up an area 30x60 feet very brightly. You could read from this light at midnight. So far so good, I gave it 4 stars since I cannot judge reliability or longevity yet. The installation was very straightforward, it wires pretty much like any light fixture.

Got this llight for my driveway and it only works on test. When I put it on 1 min or 5 min or 10 min it acts like its on test mode and goes on during daytime hours. My electric bill went through the roof. It's horrible.

                    Only works in Test mode
Bought this light for my back yard. Its garbage. The only setting that works properly is "Test". The other settings which have timers (1, 5, and 10 minutes) either work for a limited time (when tripped twice max) or not at all. The red LED will light when motion is sensed yet the light won't come on unless the setting is changed to "Test".
