Had installers put this floor down. Took about 3-4 hours for a bedroom. Looks good!

I am currently putting new flooring throughout my house. This Hawaiian Koa Caramel Flooring is beautiful and so easy to install. It comes with backing and when laid with the plastic underlayment has created not only a beautiful floor but has reduced the noise and insulated the house as well. Just raised the worth of my home ..Cha-ching!!

This flooring was an upgrade from what some investors installed in my house before I bought it. This has a nice glossy finish and is very sturdy! As with all laminate be careful when installing and not to smack the boards into place. Very happy with how it turned out!

Getting started is the hard part. Buy the installation kit with shims and tapping block to knock planks together. Shim the first row to compensate for crooked walls and tap each plank - then it's easy!

Just installed this laminate flooring in our kitchen and it looks beautiful! Ordering online was easy and the shipment was delivered without incident or damage. My husband and I installed it ourselves, since we have some experience with installing laminate flooring. In just a few days we had a new floor! A major feature for us in picking this flooring was that it would hold up to our dogs toenails and not get all scratched up. So far it has. Also, we liked the high gloss shine and the width of the flooring. It is really easy to cleanand maintain. Very satisfied! Would definitely not hesitate to purchase a similar laminate floor from Hampton Bay again.

We just had this floor installed a few weeks ago, and we are very happy with it. Hopefully it lasts over the long haul! It is a very pretty shade of caramel and has a lot of character in regards to the wood grain. It is easy to clean with a Swiffer and isn't so dark that it shows too much dirt. We didn't do the installation ourselves, so we don't know how hard or easy it was. However, the installer didn't complain about it, so that is probably a good sign. The quality and value of the product will tell with time, depending on how well it holds up. We haven't abused it too much as of yet, so we don't know how hard it is to dent or scratch.

We put this in our family room and it is gorgeous. We get a lot of compliments on it. Its very easy to clean and the color is not so dark that you see smudges or dirt - its a perfect medium color. We like it so much we are putting it in our dining room and living room next.

So beautiful! I originally installed this flooring in high-traffic areas (great room and very long hall) due to much wear and tear on our original teak hardwood. The pattern and finish are so similar to the teak in the adjacent bedrooms that with a transition strip in the doorways you can't tell that it isn't the same wood. The finish is extremely hard, and has barely a scratch after 3 years, with children and large dogs in the house. I liked it so much that rather than refinish the teak in our bedroom, I am using this instead. It has a very glossy finish and true caramel color. It tolerates moisture, but a spill or water that has not been cleaned up will eventually cause damage at the seams. I would suggest ordering more than you need, since while there is very little waste, it is frequently out of stock and may have been discontinued.

First time doing flooring. Watched online video on how to install. Asked family to leave, since I will do better alone. Came out great. Easier than I thought it would be.

We purchased this flooring while in Hawaii to have installed in our entire home upon my husband's military retirement. The floor is beautiful as I stated. It is very glossy and hard to keep clean. If you do not like prints on glass then this floor is not for you. I have tried everything to clean it and it always shows prints. It is also no spill proof at all. There are also quite a few places that the flooring is buckling and the edges are raising from the floor. Very expensive investment for poor quality flooring.

The flooring arrived quickly. Having installed laminate flooring before, this was easy to install. It looks beautiful. Still have one more room to do with it. So far it has held up good.

I have had this floor in my kitchen and entryway for a year now and I am replacing it. I have four kids and two dogs. I chose this floor because of its high gloss feature and high durability of laminate. And since I have laminate in all of the upstairs, I decided why not. It has not held up well at all. It does not scratch, but It shows every footprint and paw print especially in the sunlight.It needs to be cleaned constantly to keep its high-gloss shine. It does not stand up to water well either. A drop of water can not even stay on this floor for a second or the ends of the panel will warp. I would not recommend this floor for a kitchen or heavy traffic area. It is beautiful flooring and would do best in a room that does not take everyday activity.

We had this flooring installed by the HD installation company when we remodled our kitchen and the floor looks fantastic. However, this flooring, or at least the batch we purchased, is not durable whatsoever. After the floor was installed we had to repair a slight leak in our icemaker so we rolled the fridge out (obviously it's on wheels), fixed and pushed it back in, the fridge wasn't out more then 5 minutes. Upon pushing the unit back we noticed that there were indentations / tracks in the floor from where the wheels were rolling adn deeper indentations where the fridge sat for no more then 5 minutes. Another issue we have found is that it is very easy to scratch or dent the surface of this flooring. Simple things such as dropping a spoon fom the counter top has caused dents in the floor, we dropped a fork and it literally took a chunk out of the floor. We have a young child and everytime something is dropped, depneding on the mass, can cause damage to the surface. There is too much to list. We contacted HD to inquire about the "50 year warranty" and what is covered. Once we called, the Mfg sent out an independant inspector to basically tell us these issues are not covered under the flooring warranty and it is inherent in this type of floor. So we inquired about the items the warranty covered and it only seems the warranty only covers issues found prior to installation based on the list that was provided. So like I mentioned, the floor does look awesome but there are some significant durability concerns in my opinion that cannot be overlooked. If you have young childrenplaying onthe floor or things can tend to be dropped this flooring might not hold up.

This is the third bedroom that we have installed this in. The installation was easy and went smoothly. The first two bedrooms we had it delivered to the house via UPS. It was easy, but we still had to move it from the front porch into the house. This last time we ordered 30 boxes so we saved the shipping cost and picked it up at the store. We had to wait for them to locate it in the back and then they loaded into the truck. We still had to move it from the truck to the house, but hey, we saved $80ish. I am very happy with the outcome.

great look and made a huge change on my home floors

Within the first 4 months of installation the product has already dented and warped. It is not kid friendly! The dents were due to a chair falling sideways and the rubber part of a crutch falling on it. The warping was from an unknown spill from a child"s cup. The product does warn that liquids will damage the flooring if not cleaned up immediately. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. The appearance is what made my husband and I choose it.

Reason for Appearance and Quality being fair is upon delivery there were many pieces damaged. Luckily the installer was able to cut around the damaged parts and use most. I do recommend the product, it was the delivery I was unhappy with.

Here is the truth about this floor. It's easy to install and looks great, the problem is that it's impossible to keep this floor clean. If you walk barefoot on it you will see every footprint. If you wash your hands and drop a little water on it you will see a water stain. I have to use Bruce laminate floor cleaner on it every day or it looks horrible. If you are installing it in a room that does not get used then it's fine but if it's in a room that gets used you are in trouble. I must say I haven't seen a laminate that looks this nice but it's just not worth the hassle of having to constantly clean it, stay away!

I have real hard wood throughout my house. It's not always easy to keep clean, it scratches easily and the finish has peeled. I installed the Hawaian Koa in caramel in my basement. It's beautiful! Looks great- I love the high gloss finish and easy to keep. Gives the basement a high end finish. I would recommend for any room in your home. I paid someone to install but they had no problem and it didn't take long.

Easy install. Great padding. Only downfall was chipped and dented corners. Either from shipping or prego should package floor differently.

This was my first attempt at installing a laminate floor. I consider myself to be pretty handy. The floor was easy to install and looks great. I ordered the threshold strips after the job was done to ensure I got the right ones.

Very happy with the warm, natural look of the planks. We installed it in a vacation rental bedroom and have received many compliments.

This floor looks really does look good once installed. The beveled edges and the piano finish make for a rich look. I have installed a couple other floors so I am comparing this to what I purchased at Lumber Liquidators for about the same price. I had to knock off a star because when you install this floor you must be very careful when tapping the ends together lengthwise. If you tap to close the boards buckle. I had to replace a number of boards because of this. I didn't have a problem with this when I installed the other floors, those were 12 mm but priced the same. Also, I noticed with this floor (probably because of the color & grain) you need to be a little more conscious that you don't put the same pattern next to a similar board. Easy to install other than buckling.

This floor went in without any troubles and looks great! Did almost 500 Square feet including a narrow hallway and finished in a day. Comfortable to walk on easy to clean. Even the kids love it.

It took me months to find the flooring that I wanted. I searched online as well as other stores not really knowing what I wanted, I only knew that I had not seen it yet. Then, on the final isle of your store, I said to my husband, "there it is". Love at first site...and it's even more beautiful than I imagined.

We have gotten many compliments on this laminate. Highly recommend.
