The pop up became detached and broke off after just one month. I also decided after I ordered this and had it installed by a plumber that it wasn't very attractive; the faucet spout is a rather ugly shape that isn't that apparent from the pictures and the porcelain handles are short and stubby compared to my old faucet of a similar type. But that's not my complaint here. My complaint is that the top of the pop up stopper appears to have broken off; it became detached after about a month without any provocation on my part. One day it just fell off its mount that it should be attached to.

This faucet looks very good. The valve seems to be an issue. I have replaced the valve twice in three years..At the second attempt, the handle broke.

The faucet arrived on time and was installed in my beautiful new vanity by my contractor. It looks sensational! I haven't moved in yet so I'm not using it but I have no doubt it will work as well as it looks!

We have only had it installed and used for a little while but at this point it looks great and performs as we had expected.

We bought these faucets for our bathrooms when building our home. We had noticed them in a friends house and asked how well they kept up..they said they had them for several years and they still looked like new. We have been in our home since 04 and they still look awesome! Its nice to find a product that will stay with you thru the years..and look classically good!

Have this faucet in my bathroom and the equivalent in the shower. Never a problem one...always solid performer and I like the style of it. Have used this brand for years. Highly recommend AS.

I replaced a 40 year old faucet with this a few years ago. Shame. The cable for the pop up has seized up for the last time, and the handles are corroding away.

bought this based on the look and other American Standard product I have owned. Install was easy and works perfectly

pleased with the product but find cleaning a bit time consuming due to the small space between handles and faucet.

I did not see any instruction to put plumbers putty on the fixture base to achieve a watertight seal with the sink.

30 year old American standard faucet finally was showing it's age having provided us with very reliable service but was showing it's age/use... appearance was getting shabby & chasing down parts was a nightmare. Huge issue removing the old American Standard faucet as corrosion and rust on the undersink mounting nut was darn near impossible (especially hot water side). Daily sprays of kroil, PB Blaster, and WD-40 not very pursuasive but since I already purchase this new fixture at closeout (wife already in love with prior American Standard 8-inch on center faucet on upstair bath with "cute" porcelin cross handles) I solicited help on internet forums. Best suggestion was use of deep wall socket, a basin wrench which had square shaft which I could use a adjustable wrench for added torque for removal. Removal of sink from wall was not an option but seemed inevitable...ugh! Solution was a 1-1/8 inch deep wall impact socket with 36 inch breaker bar. Once removal of old American Standard locknut was completed install of this new faucet took less than 15 minutes. American Standard ... do NOT ever use undersink locknuts the thickness of a carriage bolt washer! Recommendations for American Standard....entertain possibility of adding notes to install sheets about use of 1-1/8 inch deep wall socket, use of Rigid Basic wrench with it's unique square shaft design, include addition/use of plumbers putty to insure solid foundation on basin deck, and finally how about including a prefit neoprene gasket between fixture and basin deck so we can eliminate possibility of dirt accumulation between faucet and sink deck? I also had to call American Standard for warranty replacement on washerless ceramic cartridge as this was first time I had a drip on this new faucet. [...] Hopefully this will save other purchasers of American Standard faucets time on their home projects

Easy to replace an existing faucet. Clear directions made installation a breeze.

I have found the products easy to install and operate. They clean up with a damp cloth.
