Had this professionally installed. 10 Months later it is buckling and separating. Trim is coming off. Floor is so wavy that I cannot vacuum.

We had it professionally installed. Price compared to carpet is good and we expect to not have to replace this nearly as often as carpet, if ever.

This floor took me some practice to get the rows started. Best to start the first three rows away from the wall off the underlayment, then move it to final start spot. It went quickly after that! The trim boards takes some figuring out but looks great without any nails, etc showing! Looks great!

It took some patience to get started but once we were a few rows in it became a lot easier. It looks great and looks like real hardwood

I'm relatively handy but had never installed a laminate floor before. I bought 1400 square feet for my lake house and installed it with a buddy. It took awhile to get the hang of it but we moved right along once we figured it out. Absolutely beautiful once it's down -

Highly recommended. We had this installed by a Home Depot contractor and the results are great. We enjoy the look and feel of this floor. The "real wood" texture was important to us and we didn't want flooring with a shine finish. This floor has a no-glare satin type finish and is very easy to clean and keep clean.

My husband installed this flooring throughout our whole home. It looks so great, we had to do the whole place in the same thing. Durable and our two jack russells can't scratch it!!! Easy to keep clean.

My 68 year old mother and I installed 600 square feet of this over two days. I had never installed laminate flooring before and would consider myself a beginner DIYer. This project was tedious but beautiful when done and would recommend this product.

Was looking for laminate flooring for our downstairs that was also budget friendly. I still can't believe how inexpensive this laminate is and how beautiful it looks! So far it has taken the abuse of our two toddlers and is very easy to clean. I like the hand-scraped texture and it really does give it the look of real wood. We did have it installed by Home Depot so I can not speak to the ease of installation. Can't beat the quality for the price! I would highly recommend this product.

While this isn't the easiest laminate to install, I found the by about the 4th row, it became much easier. It is easy to miss locking them correctly, but it SEEMS right. Again, you get the feel for it as you go. I've installed other laminate before with "makeshift" tools (tapping block etc). I definitely recommend following directions, getting an installation kit, and being patient (constantly tapping as you lower). It really isn't that bad. We are very happy with the look-- especially for the price. The hand scraped look is great. And the seams make this look a lot like real wood. We used it for our kitchen. We plan to continue it now into the living room.

This product was more difficult to install than other brands I have used. It was difficult to get a tight fit between planks, and sometimes they slipped apart after they were properly secured. The floor was beautiful immediately after installation, but after a few months many of the planks disconnected, leaving gaps between them. After two years, several planks turned up on the edges slightly even though temperature and humidity were controlled since installation. I was expecting many years of use, but I am replacing after only three years with warped, gapped boards with some higher than expected worn areas.

Does not stay together. Some stay nicely while other parts separate.

I must have gotten a bad batch as all boxes had at least one bad piece. One box had 4 pieces that could not be used at all. The fit of the planks was poor, some fit nicely but most did not. Will not buy anymore of Hampton Bay flooring.

This flooring is very east to install and adjust to the fitments. Appearance may not be the best but sure it is easy to clean and maintain.

The Old Mill Hickory laminate floor was a little tricky at first to get into place. We had to start over a number of times because the boards kept popping up, but we finally got our groove and got it done. It held up great for about three weeks but then boards started popping up. We were able to take the section apart and redo it, but now other pieces are following suit. We followed the installation instructions and had help from someone with experience putting in these types of floors. It seems the edges that are supposed to lock together are too narrow to really hold. I called my local Home Depot this morning to see what can be done and am waiting for a manager call back. I would really hate to be stuck with this.

We have installed laminate flooring in many rooms. This was by far the most difficult product to work with. It does not lock together easily, it pops out very easily. Even if there were better grades available in this brand, this installation experience would prevent us from ever buying this brand again. We truly were about ready to undo the part of the floor we had done and bring the boxes back to Home Depot. If the nearest Home Depot had been in out town, we would have returned it that day and purchased something different. We have fought it and fought it. NOT happy!

The flooring made the house look so beautiful. We are in the market to sell the house and flooring easily added $20,000 increase in value plus should make it sell so much faster

The pieces of flooring look good, but that is the only positive thing I can say. Notice I said "pieces of flooring", because there is not way to make this into a whole floor. The looking system does not work. The "male" part of the system is less than 1/8 of an inch long and may as well been made of paper mache'. It just will NOT stay in place. (Some bean counter somewhere probably figured out that they could make an extra dime on a box by cheaping out on the looking system.) The past few years I have installed about 8 laminate type floors and never had such a poor product. Last week I put in a cork laminate without difficulty. So I know what I am doing. I have loaded 15 boxes back on the truck and am taking it back to the store. I went through 1 box and decided that this is a bad product. Save yourself time & money and get another floor.

This flooring looks excellent and the hand scraped look is really nice. The installation is a bit fidgity. It took a few rows to get the hang of it. I've installed a few laminate floors and this has to be the worst locking system I've encountered. Again, it looks awesome when installed.

This was the second laminate floor project I did. This product was impossible to put together. When one piece was assembled correctly another would pop out. After spending 3 hours on the floor with little progress , my son-in-law volunteered to help since he had put down quite a few laminate floors. Before this he even thought it was fun to do. We spent another 3 hours at which time our conclusion was there was no way this floor was going to stay together. Tomorrow I will be return product to the store.

This flooring is beautiful! We put it in our master bedroom and it looks great. We plan to put it in our hallway as well.

We purchased and installed this flooring in our office and living room. While the office held up due to low traffic, this living room is basically totaled, and it will be 2 years installed in January 2015. We have dogs, and this flooring was recommended. I take good care of things, followed the directions for cleaning and maintenance. It scratches easily as well. Not too thrilled that we spent nearly $1000 on this floor and it needs to be replaced 2 years later... It held up well in the room we barely use, but high traffic and busy areas it did not. I am currently investigating the warranty info, but who knows how that will go.

WIFE LOVES THE FLOOR ,I HAD BOUGHT IT FOR ANOTHER PERSON AND INSTALLED IT AND THE FLOOR WENT TOGETHER GREAT , ALSO THE HANDSCRAPED FINISH IS THE ONE TO GO WITH .WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FLOOR

We purchased this product and My husband installed it. He had a very difficult time putting it in a basically square room. I like the color and the quality but I am wondering about the way it has been installed and the difficulty with it. Some of the pieces just do not fit together right. I am wondering what can be done about it.

Worth the price and wait once installed it looks great. Would suggest this product to friends and family.

Beautiful! And very durable! I because I have 3 large, very large dogs 86 - 105#, I needed flooring that would hold up! After getting a visit from my dogs at Home Depot, the sales associate guided us to the pergo flooring. It is so beautiful! We absolutely love the floor! The whole room looks amazing! Since putting in the pergo flooring in one room we have had another room made over with the same material. Truly addictive stuff! We did not install the floor, so can not comment on "the ease of installation". We love it!

Looks good and the texture works great so no slipping when daughter dances on it.
