Works perfect for my small outdoor patio

Installed two of them, and they have exceeded my expectations. Absolutely no wobble or vibration. Super quiet. Great buy.

These fans are quiet and look great. The base is not exactly black. More like a dark grey pewter but it matches my dark brown outdoor wood ceilings.

Easy to install. Looks great at our cabin.

Put these on our front porch and they are perfect!

It gives great cooling air flow on a low level...mechanically sound, works great, but I didn’t realize the blades were so wood-looking, at least they are stained black, I love otherwise!

I contemplated putting another fan on my front porch but this fan worked out perfectly. It was an easy install, especially since I had just installed another Hampton Bay fan in my dining room. Love the way it looks

I wanted to install a small fan on a small porch in front of my house that complemented my black wrought iron gate and black steel light sconce. I removed the existing light, which was centered, and replaced with this iron black fan gazebo II by Hampton Bay. I was worried it would not fit because the ceiling space was small but it fit like a charm. The fan itself is beautiful in design at 42 inches, sturdy in construction, quiet when running (which may depend on installation). It has three levels of speed with no light option. You are able to leave the fan switch on inside and turn it on/off with the pull down chain outside. I purchased this online and it arrived on it's ETA. I am grateful that this fan was available for a good price ($70) as I shopped around for outdoor fans that were costing $100+. This fan is a great choice for small spaces.

Very nice fan. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Fan looks great installed. I put this on my 12x16 porch. I was told to NOT get a big fan for my porch because the blades would sag. This is the only outdoor-rated one I could locate smaller than 52". I installed it close to the 8' ceiling without the lowering post. It does NOT move a lot of air on the porch. There are a number of things that could be affecting the air movement - being outside, porch size, proximity to the ceiling, blade size/angle... Regardless, I'm happy with it.

This fit my needs for a small covered patio, so I purchased two and put them up where recessed lights had been. I just installed them today, so I have little sense of air movement or noise. They could have been designed with better access to tighten the blade screws, as I had to be careful not to mar the finish of the fan bottom. My biggest concern is where the downrod penetrates the canopy cover; it is wide open for wasps to enter and build nests. I plan to measure the diameter of the downrod and get some black foam pipe insulation to wrap around them, hopefully blocking the gaps without being real noticable.

Our gazebo came with a large hook for a ceiling fan. I have never been comfortable with hanging a ceiling fan with a hook. I decided I'd replace the hook by mounting a standard ceiling fan outlet box in place of the hook. Once I found the correct size metric bolt, I drilled a hole in the middle of the outlet box (through a knockout hole) and added a fender washer to reinforce the knockout. From that point on the installation was as straightforward and as simple as installing any other fan. I did need to replace the 6" drop extension rod which came with the fan for a 12" drop down extension from my local Home Depot to clear the ceiling slope on my gazebo. This fan adds so much to our gazebo, and the natural iron finish has had several dinner guests thinking it came as part of the original gazebo. This fan pushes enough air to make dining under our gazebo a pleasant experience.

Excellent outdoor fans for pergola or wet location. As easy to install as any other fan I've had. The iron color is dark and the fan is good in both a modern and classic setting. We bought two of these, and have them over our outdoor patio table on our pergola... they provide ample bug protection and cooling. They don't over power the space with wind however, which is nice given that when eating under them we really don't want wind blowing on our food. Overall.. a very economical and good looking fan considering the low cost.

I was happy to find this "iron" finished fan, since neighborhood requires all black outdoor fixtures. Looks great on my front porch!

We are very pleased with the fans. We purchased two for our back deck. The fit is perfect for our space.

I put 3 of these fans on our boat dock and they are GREAT and so easy to install. The make a huge difference and look GREAT as well.
