Great quality, great price and have already received SO many compliments!
This table is HEAVY, which to me says it's good quality. It took about 40 minutes to put it together with two people. The quality of the table is excellent...the chairs have already been drenched from some rainstorms we've had in Kansas City, but they do not rust and stay in excellent condition. The cushions are also very high quality (although I always bring them in after we're done using them). I would highly recommend this table - there's not a lot of them like this out there, it stands out above the rest, and the value for the quality of product you get is outstanding.

Nice large set for a balcony
We were looking for a large dining set for our terrace. We wanted to be able to enjoy the view while seated and needed something taller than standard. This set works perfectly. The table is large enough for 6 people to have dinner, or we can use as a buffet table during a party and scatter the stools.
The color and style are attractive and classic. The chairs are fairly comfortable and the backs are smooth so they wont damage clothing. The table is VERY heavy, which is great as we get 20+ mph winds quite often. However to move the table you need 2 strong people.
Other sets we looked at cost twice the price, so this set is a good value.
We ordered for instore pickup and did not have any damage as some other reviewers shared. I would assume that those items were damaged by the common carrier, where as the products shipped to the stores are treated with more care. However, you will need a full size pick-up truck to transport the table and 2-3 strong men to carry the boxes if you order for pick up.
Overall we are very satisfied with the purchase.

Very heavy table prone to damage
This is a very nice looking table and I really like the chairs and the taller design.
The problem is the table top surface. It's a synthetic stone-tile that is lighter than real tile or granite, but still very heavy, 170 pounds. Despite the weight, the surface is not very durable. Without much force a glass bottle or utensil can dent the hard outer coating. Under the coating is an even softer material. The warranty on the table surface is only one year.
The extreme weight of the table makes it feel shaky and unstable. I tested this against our old glass table and the Madison actually shakes less, but due to the weight it feels like it is shaking you, and this feeling is unsettling.
I feel this table would be a much better product with a lighter more durable table surface like tempered glass.

Table Top Cracked Upon Arrival
After reading the other reviews that noted problems with the table top cracking, we decided to take a chance and order the set anyway. It was exactly what we were looking for: high seating, 6 chairs with pads. However, our set arrived with the table top already cracking, and by the way, it is VERY HEAVY, as others noted. The chairs were very nice and comfortable. We called the customer service number and received the okay to return the set to the closest Home Depot, which we did (it was quite a job hoisting it into the car). Other than that, the Home Depot Customer Service people were excellent and returned the set, no problem. I will not buy a set with that type of table top again, but I will shop Home Depot for a new set.

There was a mix up on the delivery address, but we were eventually able to get it worked out.

Nice looking, comfortable, very sturdy table.
Set arrived in two boxes, with table top separate in one box. Table top is VERY heavy - need two people to move and set up. Very sturdy when assembled, and looks very nice. Do not tighten fully the connection of the legs to the frame without first fitting the top to the frame, or you will end up loosening those bolts to get everything to line up. Chairs do not require assembly other than putting the cushions on. Cushions are comfortable and attractive, and dry fairly fast. Chairs are well built, but rest on small feet points, two of which are adjustable. On a wood deck, noticed a bit wobbly if one leg or two is between two boards and the contact point gets depressed between them. A larger foot piece would solve the problem - but it’s a minor issue - they are still stable chairs. Overall a nice match with other components in the line. Very nice looking and highly comfortable
