I purchased this fan without seeing it in person prior. I'm quite picky, but this fan definitely met my expectations and in the month I've owned it I can see no flaws. The style is great with its clean, smooth lines. The material is of good quality, and the installation was easy. It's also short enough to not be a bother. I have mine on a 9 foot ceiling and can't reach it unless I'm on my tiptoes (I'm 6'2"). Of course that involves getting off the couch, but that's not really necessary since it comes with a remote. On a side note, you haven't lived until you have a ceiling fan with a remote. Anyways, the LED it comes with is nice. I thought it might be too white and bright, but it's more of a yellowish tint that works well in ambient rooms.

It's a sleek looking fan and was pretty easy to install. The best part is that it seems well balanced.

Overall a great product. Only complaint is installation of the remote receiver. It is a tight fit to get the wiring and the remote receiver into the designated area. Otherwise, I love the look of the product and it works well.

First off fan looks great and runs great but do NOT buy this fan as a light source. The LED inside of this light produces less light than a $2.00 wall outlet night light you can get at Walmart. No one carries a replacement LED for this unit and Hampton Bay will just try to sell you a new light kit. Why make the bulb so dim and useless? Do not waste your hard earned money on this product if you desire any type of light from a ceiling fan!

Fairly easy to assemble. Remote works well. Like the LED light. Looks modern

The fan is an excellent fan, works as advertised. In the add it does not address the energy usage and with the fan come a chart showing how this fan compares to other on the energy consumption end. This fan is a electricity hog according to the chart even thou it had an LED light witch is very nice. It is relatively quiet and all in all a good fan!!!

Had a friend install the fan for me...did not take too much time. Fan is absolutely beautiful. It is black and brushed nickel and looks so modern. The only thing kind of odd is that the remote functions from left to right at Hi, Med, Lo as opposed to Lo, Med Hi...but that's not a deal breaker for me. And the remote is extremely responsive from anywhere in the room. The fan is absolutely beautiful. Oh.....did I say the fan was absolutely beautiful?

It could use a little more hp for airflow and the globe to the lights is a nightmare if you ever have to remove it, but other than that stuff it's really contemporary looking, easy to assemble, and very quiet.

Beautiful fan, quiet, and works perfect. However, if you install more than one in the house, remember to change the remote code on one. Of them!

Fan looked good and was easy to follow the install instructions. Did have problems installing the remote receiver with all the wires in the box. Remote seems too cheap, but for the price of the fan cant complain

Bought this fan to replace a very old fan in my room. This fan goes above and beyond. It cools my room down quickly and it is quiet! I can sleep with it on no problem. The installation can be a bit tricky if you are not savvy with those types of things. Other than that it is fantastic. I also love the remote - very easy and effective.

Beautiful fan... well made and circulates the air efficiently. The installation is not super difficult, but is also not super simple. They could have very easily reduced the size of the remote control receiver unit and just built it into the fan. Instead they require the installer to wire it up and cram it into the already tight base. Also, the hand held remote is pretty flimsy and cheap... And the warning stickers on the fan do not come off easily, leaving a bunch of sticky film behind that I had to spend some time to remove (rubbing alcohol does the trick). My last issue is with the LED lights... I will not use these anyway, but there is no dimmer... and they shine through the opaque glass as a bunch of very bright little dots... Not very well diffused. I do like the overall look of the fan... And the function very much (silent and well balanced).

Easy to understand instructions. One suggestion. Make sure before you begin wiring it up, trim back a lot of the wiring from fan. You really only need about a foot. Also when you wire it up, be on the side of the open end of the ceiling bracket. (its kind of half moon shaped, you will see the difference once you get it up there) If you do it will be a lot easier to stuff the wiring up into the elec. box in the ceiling and then fit the remote receiver box into the bracket. Light works for me. bright but more of a concentrated beam. Its above our couch and I kick it on when I need to read something. I have table lamps supplementing the light if necessary in the living room. Looks Great!

finish had rusted on some of the parts. 15 min after the install was completed the globe fell out and shattered to pieces, Now try finding a replacement. so far it seems to be impossible, 200 bucks down the drain

Canopy is so small and fitting the remote and all the wires in there is very difficult. But, once done it looks very cool. I expected Day light, but the LED lights were yellow. Also missing is the ability to use the fan in reverse mode.

Fan looks amazing. Goes great with contemporary decor. Easy to install. The only con is that the remote control feels like made of cheap construction.

The fan is very nice quality, and cool led lights, the fan blades are super light weight. The sending unit for the remote control is to large for the ceiling fan. I installed probably 50 ceiling fans in my lifetime and this took the longest. The sending unit is to large and after wiring it to the fan it would not fit into light housing or electrical box, I had to go above drywall in the ceiling and wire the remote sending box above my electrical box then wire ceiling fan into it. Why they have a large remote sending unit with this fan is ridiculous!! But the fan is so nice that I can now over look the extensive time this took to install.

Love that the light kit on this fan is LED! Very sleek looking ceiling fan.

This fan is all looks. Looks great but the LED light is useless. Also, The fan I got came dented. The dent was so small I couldn't tell until I installed it and it started spinning. Avoid this model unless you don't really need the light.

Com: this is a nice product. I like the LED feature. It's very bright. Con: fan can not change to reverse mode, LED light not dimmer.

Bought two of these fans while they were on sale. Like the overall look and they are very quite. The LED lights provide adequate lighting. On low, the fans barely move any air. Even on medium there doesn't seem to be much air movement considering I have two of them in my master bedroom. Normally don't set the fans on high as I can then here them while trying to sleep. The only other issue I have is that the fan and light functions cannot be controlled by separate switches because all of the functions go through one receiver.
