Sturdy, easy to assemble. We bought two tables a couple months ago and really like them! They look great on our deck.

At first, it seemed a bit daunting to assemble with the number of parts once unboxed. Although it took about 2 hours to put the set together, it was straightforward with good instructions and all necessary tools included. The legs of the chair attach with nuts and bolts, so if you have a ratchet set, that part will go much faster. Once assembled, everything is solid and you can tell this is high quality. The cushions are comfortable, although the Velcro strips to attach them to the frame of the chair are a bit short. The chairs are also very sturdy so even though you are sitting up high, there is no chance of the chair tipping over. The swivel action is smooth and I also like the fact that the foot rails of the chairs are covered in a color-matching protective plastic. This was a nice touch that will prevent scrapes and rust. The 'wicker' chair backs feel like the material is rubberized, which should also lend durability and standing up to the elements. We are very happy with this set.

Combining the two chair set with the matching bistro table makes a very attractive and comfortable sitting arrangement for your patio to enjoy your morning coffee. Assembly is simply done in about an hour but I recommend substituting the provided tools with your own power driver and socket wrench (see my photos). Be sure not to tighten the screws until all pieces are assembled in order to allow plenty of play to fit things together. The chair seats are large and roomy with a thick, bottom cushion and lumbar pillow for support. The table has adjustable levelers under each leg. The chair's height is like a low bar stool plus they swivel which makes them easy to get in and out of. The wicker backs are a nice finish and provide added comfort. This set is a great addition to our patio.

A bistro-style high-dining chair and table set. Each chair swivels 360 degrees, and has a 360 degree foot rail. The foot rail is protected by a plastic liner, The legs have non-adjustable plastic foot plugs. The chairs come with yellow seat cushions that attach at the back to prevent slippage, and throw pillows you can use for lumbar support. A woven back completes it. The chairs are easy to get in and out of, swivel well, and are comfortable. They appear to be the right height, and fit well with the Bistro Table. The side arms of the chairs will swivel under the table with appropriate clearances. The table is high (like bistro-style) but fits well with these high chairs. The table is larger than some smaller bistro tables, but probably only large enough for 2 people especially if you plan to use the table for eating. The set is mostly powder-coated steel with modern high-end styling, except the table top which appears to be aluminum. The table legs have adjustable feet. The unit came in 2 boxes. One with chairs and one with table. The boxes were in good condition, and the parts were packaged well. There seemed to be no damage during shipment, and each part was well protected by packaging material. There are a lot of parts to assemble to get the chairs together, and many places are a tight fit. There are a few extra parts, but I ended up using most of them. Overall it took me over 2 hours to assemble all 3 pieces. The instructions were just ok. I wish there were better pictures. The chair bottom label goes to the rear. When assembling the chair bottom, be sure to leave the side arm screws really loose to allow the fitting of the chair bottom as it is a very tight fit. Once the chair is together, then you can tighten all screws, but do it a bit at a time for each screw; not all at once. I think the same for the table. Get all the parts together, put all the screws in, and then tighten everything a bit at a time, till all is tight. I found on one chair and the table, that the threaded hole was damaged. As I hand-threaded the screw in to start it, it would not go. I had to disassemble the unit, use a hook tool to clean out the hole and threads (loose metal from cutting process left in the hole/threads) then take an extra screw, force it through the first few turns to re-tap the hole, remove that screw and toss it, then use a new screw. That worked fine. Alternately, you can re-tap the hole with a tap kit. Once complete, I analyzed the finish and found minor blemishes on construction, and powder-coat finish where it was scratched or worn off. One of the plastic foot rails was also damaged. I assembled these units very carefully on cardboard and carpet so I know I did not damage it. I checked the packaging material, and it was in great shape. So my conclusion is that it was damaged at the factory and packaged that way. Overall, this set has a lot of potential; comfort, style, adjustable, features. But manufacturing quality control is not there yet, unless you don't care about the details. From a distance, it looks great. There is an 800 number you can call and they will send you the parts you need to finish your set, but with at least 4 major parts damaged, I decided to just make it work. They also require pictures, etc.

We play a lot of Scrabble in the warm weather. This can get a little frustrating if you don't have a comfy chair to sit in whilst in the deep battle for world word domination! Any lack of comfort, often left us abandoning our game early, to head inside. The problems that we faced with many patio sets were that they were just TOO BIG! It's just us two here at home, and we really didn't want a table for six [or even four for that matter], on our somewhat small patio. And, since we already had a couch, and two larger lounge chairs that hardly ever got used for eating or gaming, we knew that a small table set up would eventually be needed. This Hamton Bay set absolutely fit the bill! The table measures 3 feet around - PERFECT for a meal for two or a classic scrabble battle! The chairs have a very nice wide stance, and sitting area, making them not only comfy, but stable as well. Now, while they do not lean back or rock (as I thought when I saw the pictures) they do swivel around 360. The foot bar also includes a built in foot bar protector so as not to scuff up the metal when you put your feet onto the bar. Putting it together was a cinch for two people. We knocked it out in under 30 minuets.But, It can also just as easily be done, with just a single person, for just a bit more time. The set itself, came in a LARGE [fairly] heavy box - BUT it ships direct from the UPS - which means, no special shipping company, and NO scheduled, 'must be at home' delivery times either! A nice extra, for assembly was that the only thing that you need to put together, is the chair back and seat, the legs are already done for you. And on the table, sixteen simple screws are used to attach the top of the table to the legs! My suggestion: get little bowls to put the screws into, after you have finished reading the instructions. And before the start of assembling the set. This keeps all of those washers and bolts right where you need them, when you need them. I must stress, DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS TO THE BACK UNTIL ALL BOLTS HAVE BEEN STARTED FOR THE BOTTOM SEAT! We did not tighten them up a lot, but when it came to placing the seat onto the frame, we had to go back and loosen the bolts even more, to allow the seat bottom to slide into position. *When installing the seat bottom the "Hampton Bay Logo" will be facing the BACK of the chair, not the front! *can you guess why I'm telling you this? :-) The table was also straight forward for assembly. There are four legs, and each attach with eight screws on the top section, and eight on the bottom - sixteen in all that bolt into 'rings' to form the base. The set comes with ALL the tools that you will need for assembly - you can even keep the two supplied wrenches for later use in your tool kit - they were well made! NOTE: While not needed - if you do have access to any of your own tools, a ratcheting screwdriver with an Allen bit, and a metric ratcheting wrench, can come in handy if you want to make it go a bit faster / easier. It takes a size 13 metric wrench - AGAIN ALL TOOLS FOR ASSEMBLY COME WITH THE SET - We assembled the set inside because it was a bit cold outside (it's January), and these fit thru the back door leading onto the patio, with ease. Once the cushions were on and held in place by Velcro tabs, it was ready for use! And for us, it REALLY is a lovely set - just perfectly sized, as a table for two! Let the games BEGIN!!!

I gave it two stars only because it was the only table I could find in that size, which is what I needed. The product came earlier than expected. Two legs were scratched, one leg was filled with sand or dirt which poured out on my floor. One leg had excess welding metal on it. The table top was warped on one side where the joint for the outside circle was welded. It really stands out against the otherwise flat surface. There were supposed to be 16 screws that hold the two lower rings to the legs, there were only 8 so each one is missing one screw. They came packed as a vacuum seal so I'm not sure how that happens. It just looks like an oversight by the manufacturer. If this table was half the price I paid, I would consider it an almost decent deal. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Just what i wanted

Came missing screws, leg is warped, so table wobbles. Because Of the warping, the top of one leg can’t even be attached. The table is a nice height, though.

after 5 mos of use foot rail accumulated water and leaked rust water all over patio. customer service to deal with my issue was amazing

The cushions have mildew on them already. I have had the set for two months plus bought extra chairs. Total of 10 cushions that now need to be replaced. Very disappointing with the money we spent.

Well I guess you pay for what you get. Chairs slightly lean forward, so you are not sitting straight up. Also the circular part around the feet of the chair, or footrest cover has come off on two of the chairs. My husband tried to glue them back on but it did not work. However we do love the colors on the cushions and the tropical look it adds to our backyard.

Came in missing a piece. Company would not ship the arm missing. Had to return the entire order. Terrible experience

Ridiculous. I purchased these chairs weeks ago and they came without the screws. I've talked to several people who have stated they will send out the kit, yet no kit has ever arrived. I have tried buying the screws, but cannot find an exact match to premanufactured holes. I tried calling AGAIN today, but was told to expect a 20 minute wait before speaking with anyone. I am SOOOOO sorry I bought this!

Chars are easy to assemble, look great and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Love this set. Looks great on my patio!

I'm going to return it. It is too small and weak. It took forever to receive the chairs and 1 of them is damaged, I will have to buy 2 sets to be able to get a full one without defects.I like the chairs but the table is too fragil.

The chairs were delivered as scheduled, on time. They were well packaged and in great shape. Assembly was a bit involved but simple to do. The chairs are sturdy and well built. Cushions are thick and firm. The seating area is fairly deep and the backrest is nearly straight up. This can be a bit uncomfortable for short people. However, a bolster pillow is included with each chair. All in all, a good value.

I bought 4 chairs. Lots of parts. I was careful when I turned the chair up side down, on a large piece of cardboard, but the tops looked scraped. Overall they look good and they are a good value. Yes, I would recommend them.

For over a year I have looked at every website available for affordable, sturdy , good looking bar stools. I could not bring myself to pay $600-$1,000 for one stool. Why are bar stools so expensive? I found these and decided to go for it, thinking they couldn't possibly be as nice as the expensive stools. I was so wrong! They are awesome, easy to put together, and look so good. My husband is very picky about seating and doesn't care about looks only comfort. We both are in love with the chairs and even more excited that we got 8 chairs for the price of 1 or 2 chairs from other companies. You will not be disappointed!!!

This is a nice table with enough weight not to move with a strong wind. Make sure when putting together you leave screws loose. The circular center supports I found a little difficult to align with the legs but than again that's probably a female thing. I'm am very happy with this.

Very impressed with the looks and quality of these chairs. The cushions and lumbar pillow are equally nice. Pleased that the cushions have zippers for easy cleaning. Also did not fine them hard to put together.
