With two sons as contractors, and I have built custom furniture for years, these cabinets are horrible. The image shows how bad the wood was messed up on receipt. Sadly, my contractor flew in from 1300 miles away to install so we were stuck having to use what we received. I will NEVER order cabinets from Home Depot again. My son used his Pro account to order for this job and spends a TON of money there. He is even considering going elsewhere due to poor quality and customer service.

I wanted to add a pantry to a "no man's land" in my kitchen but didn't want to go 24" deep. I ended up buying two of these 42" cabinets and stacking them for a tall pantry. They are well built and square! They stacked easily with a small trim piece on the seam to make it look like one cabinet, I will add a toe kick to cover the 2x4 base once I replace the flooring. The cabinets were packaged very well with no damage. I would highy reccomend these cabinets.

This is crap. Back section has crack. Door frame has crack. Holes don’t line up for shelf. Only revived one shelf when should have been 2. I had to return the pantry earlier because it was so broken like the sides blew out from the back

These cabinets are made from 3/8” particle board and secured with 1/2 staples. Even with a 2x2 supporting the bottom of this cabinet and with only books and papers inside, the staples pulled right out of the back and the whole thing fell apart. Just really terribly built

The delivery guy was throwing the cabinets around. He said he only had one more delivery wanted to get done. He was throwing the cabinets around in the box truck. One was laying on its side in the truck as if it had fallen in tranport. Nothing was anchored down or secured. Very dispapointed with delivery. I will be picking up future orders.

Totally happy with all the Hampton bay satin white cabinets I've ordered and installed in my kitchen renovation. These cabinets give a classier look than the shaker design. Wife and I love the look.

My neighbor sent me this picture of my kitchen cabinet that came apart. The back is still attached to the wall, the sides top, and bottom and front laying on the floor with my dishes broken less than a year old these cabinets are

We love the look of all of the pre-finished hickory Hampton Bay cabinets! Our upstairs kitchen has them and as we remodeled downstairs to add a second kitchen - that's what we opted for, once again! They look good - modern and with great hardware. Added value for the $$.

I wished I purchased the unfinished in-stock cabinets, the quality is superior to these low quality cabinets. I purchased these cabinets to build a built in hutch/bookcase for my granddaughter’s bedroom. I used wall cabinets mounted to a floor frame so I shouldn’t have the fallen cabinet problem, however, seen the quality of these cabinets. I can see how they’re falling off consumers walls. I would not recommend these cabinets for a kitchen being used daily.

Shortly after installing the paint/latex started peeling. Off the two cabinets that are next to the stove. I contacted woodwork for warranty, rep said they do not cover heat damage. Out of courtesy they offered to send me just the doors to replace. Got the doors but they were used, holes for cabinet hardware were already extended/chipped clear sign they were used, bottom corner of the door was damaged. Which sucks because i just remodeled my kitchen with these cabinets, so if i can save someone this headache.

We first built our kitchen with Hampton Bay Hickory cabinets in 2011. Since then we have added more. We just love these cabinets.

The cabinets are great. We stacked them from the floor,screwed together and use then for a pantry. They match the rest of our cabinets.

Great value. Easy home-office project. was able to get creative to establish the effect and style I was looking for. Still a work in progress.

Great buy! Sturdy cabinet, no assembly, easy to clean. The solid backs made installation much easier as you have plenty of options for the mounting screws. Perfect for our laundry reno!

Cabinets fit perfectly with the 3" fillers.

One of the cabinets shipped was defective. The factory did not use glue and the staples were not properly centered. After attaching to the wall, and adding the doors, the weight of the doors caused the joints to separate, all on their own. We could not afford to wait for a replacement with our contractor standing by, so he remedied these defects at our expense to remove, fix, and reinstall this cabinet. I have asked Home Depot for a full refund for this item and will update my review accordingly.

I'm happy with the Hampton Bay Hampton Assembled 36x42x12 in. Wall Kitchen Cabinet we purchased at a reasonable price and installed in our kitchen. We added this cabinet to our kitchen remodel along with several other cabinets and we are very happy with the completed project.

Matched our custom order kitchen cabinets.

Was looking for an inexpensive cabinet (3 of them) for our laundry room. This one fit the bill and somewhat matched our cabinets in the kitchen. Thought the cabinet was of good quality and install went smooth. Recommend buying shims and Cabinet screws to make install easier. Great help at both stores we visited. We only found one at the 1st location we visited and got the other two at another store across town. Once mounted it was easy to adjust the doors/shelves, and install the door pulls. I would use them again!

The cabinets fit nicely in our laundry room. They were easy to install. The cabinets were packed with enough cardboard so that they were not damaged during shipment and handling. With Home Depot pickup service, HD was able to put the cabinets in my SUV.

Worked perfect for a short term redo. Needed raised panel for a nook project. These worked perfectly for the project. Did have to refinish to match the kitchen. I knew that going into the project. Bought 3 cabinets they all lined up and the doors even lined up.

These cabinets have solid wood doors and faceframes and are very beautiful.

Bought some of these cabinets a while ago to build a basement bar, and they all went together perfectly. I am in the process of renovating my kitchen and bought some more of these cabinets, and have had nothing but issues. As you can see by the photos, the way these are assembled at the American Woodmark factory, they do not line up correctly. I've had to do a bunch of unnecessary and time consuming work to get these to work.

Cabinets are medium duty as described and come with easy to adjust door hinges for the fine adjustment.

Great cabinets! Easy to hang. Very sturdy and they look awesome.

Make sure before you hang to check the holes for the shelves. Mine were way off and to figure this out after contractor had hung them is frustrating!
