I'm happy I chose this shade. It is nice and sturdy and the pull mechanism works nicely. This adds a little bit of texture to the bathroom where I installed it.

Just got two of these in different widths to act as "doors" to my outdoor storage areas that I fenced in. One conceals the trash bins and the other all my gardening tools, pots, etc. They look good now. Naturally time will tell how well they hold up to being outside. I imagine the pull cords will rot and go first, but I can replace those with something more durable when the time comes. Note: The wooden "knobs" at the end of each blind's cords broke apart immediately with the first use. I'll tie something else on in their place. That will look a little funky, and just my style for these DIY projects!

I bought these for my kitchen and love them. They don't block out a ton of sun but I have a curtain over them.

Very good item for the price. We are using these shades to manage the sun glare on our screened-in porch. The exact sizes we needed were available. Installation was easy. They look very nice and do exactly what we need them to do. Only thing to note is that the plastic "tube" used to hide the cord knots is not very sturdy.

My husband & I have ordered 3 so far and planning on ordering at least 6 more in the larger width to finished our project in the near future. Shade allows the right amount light thru as well as giving the privacy we want. I would strongly recommend the product.

I didn't want to use mini-blinds in the old house my son and I are updating/ renovating. I saw these at Home Depot and thought this might be the answer. Purchased the shades, and headed home. Had them hung in less than 20 minutes, Fits perfectly and looks much better than mini-blinds would. Very pleased with the result so I went back to Home Depot the following day and bought enough to do the rest of the house. There was even one to fit the really odd size picture window in the living room :) The quality is good. The color choices are pleasingly neutral without being bland. I am very pleased. The photo is not the greatest lol, but shows how well they go with curtains

Didn't have this shade for a GOOD month and pull cord broke!?! Was doing great until this happened! WHERE IS THE QUALITY? ...gone!

We purchased 10 blinds in various widths & lengths to cover our enclosed outdoor lattice pattio to give us more privacy because we had recently purchased a hot tub. We had installed all 10 blinds on the interior side of each section of our lattice enclosure and at first we were happy with the result as they gave us the privacy we were expecting. However, after 1 month of the blinds being installed outdoors they are now covered entirely in mold. I have taken a close up picture for reference. These Hampton Bay blinds state they are rated for indoor/outdoor use. This leaves us very disappointed with the quality since the blinds have started growing mold at very rapid rate during the 1 month since they had been installed outdoors. The care instructions state " To be cleaned with a vacuum attachment or duster". A vacuum or duster will not fix this problem, rather it appears the product is defective since the material used is obviously NOT rated for outdoor use as Hampton Bay claims. Needless to say, our privacy has turned into an ugly, moldy mess and we would like some sort of compensation or replacement blind of better quality because we cannot leave our outdoor oasis in such an ugly disarray for much longer. Something must be done soon as we are unable to enjoy our hot tub currently as we are surrounded by shades that consist entirely of moldy bamboo!! Ewe!!

We had a hard time finding shades to fit on our screened porch to block the glare from the sun in the late afternoon since the porch faces west. Finally found these and they are perfect. Easy to install and they look great.

Installation was easy. The product allows natural light to pass thru, although gives you little privacy. During the day, you can see the outside thru the bamboo material but from the outside you can not see the inside of the home. At night, the process is reverse. The material will block your view from the inside to the outside, but from the exterior you will be able to see the inside of the house. If privacy is a concern at night, turning the lights off inside the home will prevent any unsolicited viewers to see the inside of the house.

Blinds were super easy to hang and we were enjoying their benefits within a half hour. If I needed more blinds, I'd buy more of these without question.

We have purchased this product before, which is why we returned to Home Depot (online) to find the Caramel Simple Weave Flatstick Bamboo Roman Shade - 60 in. W x 72 in. L. It was very easy to install, the color was exactly right, and does a wonderful job of shading our porch window, which faces directly east. The shades pull up and down easily, no hang ups, and stay in place. We love the product and we love Home Depot!

I purchased these blinds first for a small window at the base of my stairs. I wasn't sure that the quality would be good because they were so inexpensive, also, I've never had bamboo shades before, though I really like the look. Right away I knew I would be purchasing more! These were so simple to hang and allow just the right amount of light in. I adore them and get so many compliments. My only regret is that I waited so long!

We bought 6 of these in various sizes to use on our covered balcony. They are reasonably attractive, and a good value for the money. They longer shades tend to "sag" a little in the middle, when rolled most of the way up. We are satisfied with our purchase.

I needed a shade that would match with my 100 year old house that would provide privacy from the street. I always loved how bamboo shades looked in designer magazines so I thought I would give it a try. They were inexpensive but look just like the decorator versions of the same thing! SUPER EASY to install. I bought six more to install in other areas of my house.

The blinds are a great value! They block a fair amount of light and are beautiful. The color is accurate to what they look like in the pictures. I couldn't be happier with them.

I purchased several of these to provide some shade and minimal privacy in my family room. The installation was easy and the quality of the shades is as advertised. Obviously if you read the reviews, these are not good for night time privacy (unless you add a liner) but they look more expensive than I thought and I like the overall look!

I found these to be well made and easy to install. They happened to be a perfect fit for the openings - a real bonus - and they work fine. Pictures included show that they give privacy from a too close neighbor, but still allow air flow (These are only on the south side). No other competitor could match the quality for the price, so if the sizes available fits you will do great! And, Home Depot in our town is working very hard to be the best at customer service - I prefer them!

These blinds were very easy to install. I had both blinds up in about 10 minutes and enjoyed the shade.

really happy with these shades. It was a cheap, easy way to get a uniform look for all of my windows. They do a great job of filtering light while allowing you to still see out. Still need curtains for privacy at night. I followed the advice of another reviewer and used the cup/mug hooks to more easily hang the shades. Not the most high quality, and the hardware you hang from not always spaced the same so you have to make sure to measure for the shade you are hanging, but really looks nice and can't beat the price for a window covering like this

(Note, this review has been rewritten to better meet your standards!) -- Beautiful shades! We bought 8 for our patio room. I wanted to get more but disgusting snowflake liberals made sure this item was discontinued because it has a drawstring --- and they're all afraid their childlike 20-year old children will get hurt. So these shades no longer exist. (Is that better? The truth is the truth).

Not the best quality but ok. Not fond on rope being seen from the outside. Nice color of Carmel.

Easy to install and look great! Filters light but still allows for privacy.

I have 2 more windows to cover, after buying these blinds for each window in my house :(
